    Aircon in a corrado

Yes there is an aircon option for the Rado... Was an optional extra that was post fitted (Diava system)... There are 2 switch types (as usual with Corrados) early and late. As luck would have it I have an aircon system for a Rado for sale (with both switch types)
  2. Yeah annoying when people do pull half out and then stop... Good example of why you should make sure you look before going...

    TVR

Thanks all... Loving it so far... Am trying to wrok out a way of justifying keeping the Corrado as well but not likely at this point... A garage with the TVR on one side and the VR6 Rado on the other does have a certain appeal though.... Maybe now go and get the "daily driver" that started this all of?

    TVR

OK... Went mad at the weekend and picked up.... mediaCAO0N21P.jpg[/attachment:2u9myr93] Only downside is imminent sale of my lovely VR6.... :(
  9. Mostly yeah.. So do know (or have an idea) for some of it... Sort of feeding my own curiosity as well here...May also be the last throws of persuading myself to sell up and move on to the TVR... i.e. if I see it all in a thread like this it becomes more real??? Seriously selling my Corrado is an emotional wrench and may lead to irrational behaviour!
  10. All As I am considering selling up and moving to a TVR (long story but can't justify both cars and do prefer the TVR :ignore: )...What would all the below be worth? NOTE the below are NOT for sale this thread is for information only... 1. Complete Aircon setup 2. Complete Black leather heated interior incl loom 3. Complete black plastics for interior to go with above 4. Grey parcel shelf 5. Black dash in very good condition 6. Black centre console in excellent condition 7. Grey dash in "as-new" condition (almost anyway :) 8. 4 x original Speedlines (no tyres) in excellent condition - no scuffs at all! 9. Porsche 911 seats - electric front seats finished in "Corrado beige" leather.... 10. abs pump... for late vr6 in working order 11. Oh yeah... 1 x Corrado VR6 blue 145k miles.... EVERYTHING works!... 2 (v) small rust spots... 1 by dr side indicator... 1 next to filler cap. 12. original rear lights in excellent condition 13. crystal rear lights in exc condition think that's all.... :D

    Couriers

    Electric... So probably 35+kg
  12. Yeah sort of what I was seeing from my searching... Only thing is if I get the TVR then it will have to be as a replacement to the Corrado... Not sure I'm ready to let the C go yet...
  13. Anyone got any experience of living with a TVR? May be getting a Cerbera just not sure how much time it'll spend with me vs time spent with my local mechanic... Any info appreciated...
  14. Yeah saw some of this on your build thread I think.. Looks very impressive. Can't endorse it much more than saying I'd probably buy it from you as a job lot!
  15. Hi mate if you do sell this as a job lot pm me as I'll almost certainly take it of you... Thanks

    Couriers

Really 38kg each??? Seems excessive... Also, they only send up to 30kg .... :( Will have to check the weights somehow....
  17. Dunno... Do you go to Ipswich at all?

    Couriers

All I need to get some Porsche seats collected in C. Durham and delivered to Camberley in Surrey... The courier I would normally use is coming in at an astronomical £200 to do this!!! Anyone got any tips on an alternative?? Thanks
  19. Oh... forgot to add to earlier post.... Stop being a gayer (thx for the term Walesey) and get the VR6... Some points to consider: Lotus is pretty but so is the VR6 and I would suggest the VR6 is ageing better than the Lotus Lotus is good in corners but so is the VR6.... lotus is quick but so is VR6 The VR6 is even suitable for male drivers....
  20. Strangely not.. Even though I like the Elan... Hard to believe I know.... Even have 6 kids so I'm not impotent and/or firing blanks... And I STILL like the Elan....very odd!
  21. I like the Lotus Elan.... Think it is a nice looking car and I'm not even a girl!!! Or hairdresser!!!
  22. All have about £4,500 to spend on a daily drive so that I can retire the C to the garage not to be seen again.... Apart from sunny weekends of course... So, question is... What should I get? requirements: 1./ Do not want anything sporty (have a car for fun already :D ) 2./ Want something comfortable... getting older and can't take the bumps anymore :) 3./ Have LOADS of kids (4 boys) so need something that can fit me + 4 others (1 in front 3 in back is fine - if the whole family goes out we take the wifes 7 seater anyway) 4./ Drive a fair amount of miles so it does need to be able to chew through motorway miles. My thoughts thus far have been: BMW 5 Series (older car for this money but still seem good) Mondeo - Not sure I can stand the excitement Vectra - No So, any other sugges6tions?
