...and just down the road from me... Any chance of taking you up on this?
-
Help please! The Corrado is running horribly when cold/damp... Starts to run really smooth again when oil is at around 85c. Have 95 VR6. Anything specific to start with?
-
Nowt, I beat you to it ages ago
-
Mmm, maybe related to year as well then as all the ONH ones I see tend to be 95 N's
-
Why do so many Corrados seem to have ONH as the letters??? Also, how many actually do have ONH? Is it simply me seeing it everywhere as I have ONH or is it genuinely common?
-
Yes please mate.... How much posted? £10 Cool... PM me payment details and I'll send cash/address...

Ever bought a car and immediately regretted it
dgtvr6 replied to Andy665's topic in General Car Chat
I had one of these on a H plate as well and agree.... It was bloody awful!!! Easily the worst car I ever brought -
The whole thing is ridiculous... I'm wondering if he has a case for taking the manufacturer to court for producing a product that simply isn't 'fit for purpose'... Think this though, a car is expected to have low speed knocks (hence bumpers - do nowt for high speed knocks really) so the use of a single use safety system pretty much means that the owner will HAVE to fork out for complete new system at some point.... Slightly off-kilter thought process I admit but nonetheless it is a shocking piece of engineering design.. What's next? Single use kettle?

Loving the very last comment on hair colour... Completely unnecessary, we figured she was blond
-
Erm, not sure Ive ever been persuaded to buy a particular car over another one because it is pedestrian freindly... Ridiculous cost though for a low speed bump... Have heard of cars being written off before for low speed bumps where the airbags have gone off...
-
Yes please mate.... How much posted?

aaah love and hate together in equal measure.... Balance
-
Thanks... Oh did I mention that I am working out options of Supercharging, Turbo or R32??? One of these in new year :norty:
-
Cheers for the offer.. Only black bit I need is the clip on cover that sits on top of the handbrake... Otherwise have it all thanks. Yes, lets leave the deal we have going 'as is'... That way I can decide what I am doing re keeping loom/relays as spares or reselling etc etc.. Also I need to fix the heated grey seats so may need these anyway if that proves to be the issue in the end... Pretty much have to take the whole car apart... Aircon to fit, complete black interior to fit, new rear light cluster to fit... that's all for now... Also going in to the Phirm for a complete bumper to bumper mechanical check in 2 weeks... Then getting KW v1s on...
-
All Have a late spec grey leather interior that I'll be selling shortly... Would include: 2 front seats in good condition. Some wear on drivers bolster (unsurprisingly) 2 front doorcards rear bench rear hum rear "door cards" (lol... No idea what the real name is for the back) Front seats are heated but need repairing (there is a guide on here somewhere and I may do this before selling) Can include the relays and the loom potentially as I will have a spare set then Also have entire set of grey interior plastics... Including grey dash, centre console, pillars, trim etc etc etc... And grey carpets.... In good condition. No rips or tears at all! BUT... What the blooming hell is all that worth??? Don't want to rip people off and would like it all to go to a decent home but likewise don't want to give it away...
-
pretty sure you are right on that.... At least that is how I recall it as well....
-
Errr... Wouldn't that be £25 PLUS £25k for the actual car? No point getting the presses etc without a target market. Not sure how viable it would be anyway as (in reality not Corradoland) the Scirocco is the better known brand name and that has been updated and is on sale through VW so you would instantly be competing against them without the backup, access to market, marketing budget, sales force, global appeal.....Etc basically.... Yes, of course I would buy a new factory fresh Corrado (especially in 4wd with 3.2 engine) but suspect that it would cost a LOT more than £25k to make in such small numbers....

a fine choice sir :D just remember and this goes for any drying towel never use softner when you wash the towel in the washing machine it will go hard and not work Top tips are alive and well it seems... Thanks for this would NOT have picked this up!!
-
Took mine off a while ago and it was a pig of a job to be honest... Took hours and despite heating the strips etc as suggested they just didn't want to budge at all! VERY VERY worth the effort though as the strips really do hide the sweet lines of the Corrado...
-
Just ordered my towel from www.cleanyourcar.co.uk very good price! :D
-
Mmm... Must be just me but I think the Corrado is VERY reliable.... I've had 1 issue in 8 years! And that was a tyre blowing up on the M1 so hardly the Corrados fault...

You should have PM'd or text me and I would have let you know. I'm glas it arrived down ok and Its a piecs of piss to fit. 1- pop the front cover/horn off the wheel you have in your car. 2 - undo the spade connection from the horn. 3- unbolt the large bolt in the middle. 4 - using the same bolt, bolt the boss in 5 - use the 6 hex screws to bolt the wheel to the boss. 6 - push the speade connector onto the horn push and use the 3 screws to bolt the cover/horn push to the wheel.these 3 need to be screwed from the back :censored: easy peasy No offence intended... Simple enough to ask all.. Fitted now and looks very nice indeed! Thanks
-
Cheers! Off down to try it in a few minutes then

All yes, I am stupid and will now prove this by asking todays most stupid question.... I have a momo with boss for a Corrado... is it straght unbolt old and bolt on new steering wheel or are there more steps/things to be aware of? Thanks
