What you need is Tropical Fish!!!  The C will be fine then 8) The water marks may get to be a problem though... Catching them as you corner hard too! Although the makers of the "Steering-wheel Laptop desk" (seen elsewhere on the forum) probably have a nifty line in auto-aquarium products too! Could easily rig up some sort of loose, swinging harness hanging from the roof for the aquarium such that it leans with the cornering meaning you shouldn't spill anything.... Or just get dogfish in the cage?? Grroooaaannn... Even I think that is poor!!

Aye, good point... the Storm has the 2 reverse gears... Errr doesn't it?
-
Is mine? It is a Corrado.
-
That really does look the mutts nuts... Did you get SWICT to do the complete job end to end? Did they source the components etc as well? How much was it? May have to go this route...

That isn't too bad... As long as used ONLY when parked then I think it is a good idea.... How about salesmen, field engineers for various industries.... Lots of people that need to drive to somewhere and use a laptop in a car and this seems to fit the bill....
-
I can't see myself ever selling mine! :nono: But then loads of people have said that before and have sold theirs sooner or later. I'm in the middle of buying my first house and have managed it without selling the car, I'm bloody skint mind but I was determined to have both! Good man! At the end of the day if push comes to shove etc you can sleep in the Rado but you can't drive the house...

get a cage... Or a skateboard, a harness and some rope... Not sure I'd want a Jack Russel in my C...
-
How long will the record be in another 20 years? I mean seriously who here would EVER sell the Corrado and be without one?
-
Blooming hell!! i thought 7 1/2 years was a long time for a single car....
-
Look interesting... Can we get some pics when being fitted so we can picture exactly what/where etc? Thanks
-
Sorry guys... Off topic I know but.... Why have you all done this? Are they nicer? Better feel???
-
I think it is :) 2009_0909Image0086.JPG[/attachment:29kpb6i2] Ive seen a few cars and bikes in matt black lately and IF done well it can look awesome... Note that this is a huge IF though... Must be bloody perfect otherwise it looks sh*te

Not now they aren't unfortunately.... The bottom really has dropped out of the market it seems and even Corrados are suffering (not as much as some though thankfully). £400 is just taking the p*ss though.... ANY car with a decent MOT and tax is worth near on £400 quid and out of a shiteheap of an old ford Escort or a VW Corrado I know which is more desireable... Even in matt black (which I happen to think looks quite good)

Urgent help, Garage has snapped locking wheel nut adaptor
dgtvr6 replied to adamsimmons's topic in Drivetrain
Are they the original locking nuts? Do you have the packaging they came in? if so you should have a serial number for that set of nuts that the manufacturer can use to make a new tool from. -

Short answer is I would like to take the Corrado to a garage with current setup and collect a while later with new setup... :D Would like to know price first and foremost though... -

Mmmm and where do we get hold of brake kits... All very frustrating... I'd quite like a one-stop-shop price for the entire kit including uprated brakes, calipers, hoses etc etc etc... Fitted! Ggggrrrrr can't be doing with shopping at 20 places and trying to work out what I need where etc -
... OK as promised I have monitored the Paradas as they have bedded in and they are "interesting"... I'd recommend em to anyone with a deathwish who wishes to drive fast in the wet! Fooking nightmare!!! Great in the dry though, lots of grip and have scrubbed in well. Give lots of fun, good crisp feel with lots of feedback to loet me know when I am reaching the limits. Bit of a conundrum given the great performance when dry and dangerous life threatening performance in the wet.... Having said that, if you don't try to drive over the top in the wet then it's all ok
-
lol.... Just saw your other thread... Maybe not so much use knowing what someone in Essex is doing given you live in Ireland then....
-
It may not be that pricey to have them recovered... I know trimstar in Cheltenham (down there somewhere anyway) were doing some deals a while back and I have heard good things about them...

fitting a touch screen car p.c into a corrado thread

Hi mate Looking very cool indeed.... Have some questions if that's ok... Apologies if the lack of a blackberry C prohibits the asking of questions but that's nothing a tin of paint couldn't solve 1./ Why did you go for that processor specifically? I have been looking at the C7 Eden from Via and wondered if there was a reason for using this one instead. 2./ Any particular reason for the Seagate HDD? I was looking at using 16G CF (granted not as much space but how much will I need?) 3./ What do you envisage using the DVD drive for? Music etc? 4./ Are you running an amp of the main board or do you intend using the on board sound card/pci type sound card? 5./ How did you solve the issue of moving the heater controls etc down by "1 DIN"? Also looking forward to seeing this finished up.. Like I say awesome skills. -
Aston.jpg[/attachment:hk3308rd] Mmmmmmm.... May not class as a car though.. Could be either porn or art... Always a close run thing between the two I guess.
