Yarp and a little dull it is too. Yep... Very dull....
-
hang on, let's concentrate on Camberley first
-
Sounds good... Anyone know somewhere in Camberley area to get this done?
-
Nice car...
-
Now, in the interest of embarrasing myself... Do you have the part numbers? Also, why did you order 3 cars worth? What are you doing building a C just from ancillary parts?
-
Where do I get the clips? Do VW still sell them?
-
All is it a massive job to change the dash? I have a grey one in now and a spare black one in my garage I want to put in... Looking at various threads here a number of people seem to swap their dash for fun!!! Is it a massive job or something an amateur can do? thanks

All Having a corrado is great and all that but it really is quite squeeky with the odd rattle now that it is getting on a bit. What do people recommend to try and battle the internal noises?
-
Drivers side... the small shelf just under the light switches comes out to reveal the fuse box... Simply take out the 2 "half turn" clips/screws (look square) and hey presto...
-
Nowt in last 4 years...
-
So what exactly are you trying to say? :? ...lol... IT ISN'T A STORM hehehe
-
Not a Storm then in essence...
-
Gotta love German efficiency! if you'd have asked they'd have been able to list all the serial numbers for all the bolts and screws too...
-
Do you park in Sunningdale a lot? Quite often seems to be a nice green C parked on the side of the road (Bagshott side of Sunningdale) when I go through there.
-
Don't you have to be within touching distance (or even within sight) to beat them through the twisty bits?
-
Indeed.... VW went a touch wind crazy for a few years in the same way that Ford went porn mag crazy with Fiesta and Escort....
-
Aye and a potential future covering for the gearstick/handbrake etc...
-
Use the more literal... jetstream Storm... Sounds better I reckon...
-
NOOOOoooooooo It is Correr..... http://www.spanishdict.com/translate/correr i.e. Correr - to run hence derived from not just the same wordstem.
-
I thought it was 'Correr' which means 'To run' - hence the logo of the guy running, printed into the headrests on the Corrado Campaign....? :) :nono: Corrado is derived from Correr but means wind current
-
Err, yes, and to me and its creator, the Rado is still a Rocco Mk3 :D Tempest lot to be said for that sentiment... is the Rado a Roccoa mk3??? Is really to be honest... Even share a name in essence as both Scirocco and Corrado mean "storm" or wind... hence Corrado Storm version I assume... Scirocco is An Italian word for a hot southerly wind and Corrado is Spanish for a similar wind current

Slightly overkeen with the smiley there.... Or is it simply a REALLY BIG statement?
-
Have you seen the price of Storm badges???? fair point... For a few quid you can have a storm then rather than pennies...
-
it does help to give lots of info.....if only to avoid the funnies lol dragon green & cream leather match the storm but without badges [1 on rear & 1 by the gear stick trim] & if the speedlines were original then i doubt it is, storms came with the solitudes i think UK spec rado VR6's were 2.9 ABV but the US used the 2.8 AAA lump....i believe :) even if it aint a storm why worry  there is no technical specification difference.....just badges really incoming on the ever lasting storm debate ha ha ha If that bothered get the wheels right (as above Solitudes I think) and then buy 2 badges for pennies and you pretty much have a Storm anyway...
-
Firstly we all take the p*ss mercilessly out of all of us so it aint just you.... Welcome to the forum in style there though. 1./ It is unlikely that ANYONE would remove Storm badges as the Storm is seen as a premium motor even though it is really "just " a VR6 with specific colours (leather and paint), wheels and badges... Not faster (in EITHER direction!!). 2./ It is unlikely that a 94 would be a Storm as they were a "special" in the last year of the Corrado (95...Some 96 possibly). 3./ ALL VR6 Corrados are 2.9
