sorry forum playing up my end

now thats 100% for me either wheels (not gold centres) look class, nice to have the choice though! front end looks a bit more open now. if ya know what i mean interior to die for and i like the rubbing strips on carries on from the grill 8)

mine were always the comfiest seats i`d ever sat in (not much to choose from in past cars tho`) but in the last year i got fat! :( and now they feel bad and hard to get out of.... not suggesting anything just my 2p.

i`ll be different 1.8 16v janspeed S1 system twin oval upswept (dtm style?) but small only about 2"each which doesn`t look to chav been on 50k bought july 2000 £300 nice and refined loud-ish after 4500rpm but not silly fits v.good but does tend to break rubbers - cable tie fixes that though not blowing or rusted bought from andfitted by Demon Tweeks by my dad when he owned cos there was no/v.little choice (for an old fella) back then verdict:Very happy

NjA666, my mate elis has a blue G60 (on standard BBS in leeds), it could`ve been him (although he`s not on here!!)

TomB, cheers mate, but dont keep `em for me if you do get `em cos i`ve got a few other (finacial) things going on at the minute. sure you could make a couple of quid on ebay though. thanks ben

just take out the snorkel on the front and put your cold feed in there! you dont wanna have to tape the holes back up when you dont like it anymore, and you can always put the snorkel back in,i havent bothered tho, i`ve got k&n and no snorkel but i think i just believed it made a differnce in engine or sound really

I have that problem too!! :( I think its a shame there discontinuing the range. I've found it to be a quality product. There pritty subtle and quite OE looking. Mine fitted very nicely as well. There are some spots of rust on the middle box starting to appear but I've had it for about two years now. and quite hard-wearing eh Cai???!!! :LOL:

replaced circlip on gear lever... got one free from dealers, didnt fit! then dropped it down the gap under gear lever along with one of the trim clips DOH!!! but went back in and they gave me a handfull of various ones to try (AGAIN FREe) COOL!!!

mine didnt look too bad, not much dandruff but when i replaced it it looked like this.........

this week i`ve done a couple of cheap/free mods removed rear wiper replaced seat bolster put Fk badgeless grill on complete clean polish etc for alltypes had new f/dics fitted after my others had warped made some dash speaker covers to cover my tweeters

a mate of mine set fire to his rear seats in his old beetle while getting jiggy in the back, when the springs in the seat touched the terminals on the battery, the horse hair seats had to be thrown out of the car much to the amusement of several cars of people sitting at the viewpoint where he was!

my kit has got an orange toothbrush in it!!!! fits in a groove on the casing and everything???????

oh and my mate at VW got the spray guy to do another set of lights without the horrid purple bits!!!
