I'm looking to get rid of everything so if the price is a bit much then please make an offer. Would rather accept less and see parts help someone than them go to waste. 3. Heres mine, owned her since 2011. Unfortunately since these photos were taken the passengers side took a knocking and the door had to be replaced so the whole passengers side had a respray and is a slightly different colour :/ Front bumper still needs respraying but the splitter has been repaired! Currently lowered on 15 Speedlines as winter wheels, Miltek exhaust with some MK4 goodies (rear calipers, handbrake, climatronic). I've got some deep dish wheels to go on next summer 16j 9 inch rears 7.5 inch front Kerschers Your paintwork looks good!! My roof has started to show lacquer peel and the bonnet was replaced before I got it so its a mix of different shades.
  4. There's a few people who can do it for you for a few bob, myself included! Edit: what switches do you need doing and what colour? The sunroof switch is the hardest to do but can be done. I've changed the ones in my valver (including sunroof) blue and the VR to red. The headlight switch can also be quite difficult.
  5. Guess that was updated along with the interior to go on all later models, still, from what I believe had been mentioned before on here what you can read on VAGcom from a valver was quite limited and not as in depth as the VR. Could be wrong
  6. Not sure, my '94 VR has the OBD1 and my crossover '92 2.0 valver has the 2 + 2...
  7. Unfortunately you won't be able to connect to VAGcom to see whether there are any sensors that are at fault as the 16v engines aren't set up in a way they can be diagnosed. I think the only thing that can be read perhaps is the ABS but you need to make sure the correct cable adaptor is fitted as its not a standard OBD port. Even the VR doesnt allow everything to be read the same way as a modern OBD car would, part of that reason is that it is OBD1 not 2 and i guess the technology was just too new. Still, a lot of interesting things can be picked up on VAGcom for the VR, just not the same for the valver. Sorry mate. Although Sean might have hit the nail on the head, read that being the issue on more than on occasion, even solved the same issue on my mates VR a few years back. Good luck with it though!
  8. I'll try setting up an account with Panjo directly then.
  9. As the title states, I filled out all the information in Panjo and click to connect my paypal and nothing....doesn't connect the account or save the post information. When i clicked refresh it said that i didn't have privileges to create a new post... Any ideas? I've got lots of individual items to sell so the Panjo set up isn't really that helpful. Thanks
  10. 92 is the crossover year, my valver is '92 so like you has the later exterior options but had all the early interior options. I swapped them all out for the later design as I much prefer it. Its a lot to do though - front door cards (you have to take the brackets for the door cards too and make fixings in the door skin for these), entire dash (so you can use the later heating controls as the centre console plastic is a different shape), later dials, switching including the sunroof and changing some of the loom to suit. I went the whole hog and swapped the seats and carpet as my interior was grey and the donor was black... With regard to buying parts it also depends whether yours is a coil or dizzy engine set up as I believe the early VRs were dizzy. My VR is 94 which is coil but I'm not sure where the engine cut off year is, otherwise most parts are interchangable.
  11. I've got another set of shocks that'll lower the rear much more which i was planning on fitting as they look odd as they are at the moment. I'm happy to do some changes to make them fit as i've been looking for Borbet A's and they're hard to find in 5 x 100 fitment so the Kerschers are as close as I can get so would like to keep the wheels. If 205/45 is what it'll take then that's what I'll do. I'd rather not flare the arches if I can get away with it but will look at getting them rolled. Thanks.
  12. Thanks, although I hardly have people in the back, was yours lowered?
  13. knew someone would Not sure, will have to look when I get home
  14. Thanks, didn't realise there was a website like that, not sure if 195 looks like too much of a stretch to be safe? I know lots of 'scene' cars use them but that's not interesting to me. 205 or 215 look ok to me http://www.tyrestretch.com/9.0_215_40_R16/9.0_215_40_R16_Toyo_T1R/ http://www.tyrestretch.com/9.0_215_40_R16/9.0_215_40_R16_Toyo_T1R_4/ That is actually the same alloy as mine; Kerscher Carmona fitted with the 215 on a Golf MK2 and looks alright to me? What do you think? I'd rather fit different wheels than go to the hassle of rolling and pulling the arches. Would be cheaper too.
  15. Should have pointed out they're 7.5j at the front and 9j at the rears. The fronts sit neatly within the arch so no issues there. Wouldn't 195 be a big stretch for a 9 inch wheel, not really knowledgeable over this so don't know? The current gap is about 40mm between the wheel and the arch and the overall wheel diameter isn't any bigger than the Speedlines as they were 50 and the Kerschers are 40 so shouldn't rub any more than normal surely, or is it because the tyre pokes out you mean?
  16. Oh right, so it might be easier to just replace the tyres? Is the stretch suitable/safe?
  17. Yeah that's what I thought, I've emailed a couple of companies with some photos to see what they say :( Can I not get the lip rolled out a bit further? Or would that ruin the lines? Tyres on the wider alloys are 225, 16inch, 9J. Was running standard 15inch 205 Speedlines before.
  18. So went to fit my new alloys, I say new, ebay 2nd hand and need a refurb but after fitting realised the offset of the rears is too much and the tread sticks past the arch, fronts are ok. Its not by much but enough for a bored cop to pull me over, I'd say 5mm max maybe? (pic attached). If I got the rears rolled slightly would this be enough to cover them? Ie can they be rolled far enough without damage and does anyone know a company in the Milton Keynes area? I've seen a few further up north and its only around £25/£30 per corner which I didn't think was too bad? Let me know, thanks! I tried to get the photo so the top of the rim lines up with the bottom, not sure if that is correct? ET is 15, 16inch 9J, not sure what the ET is on my standard speedlines?
  19. Not mine http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Corrado-turkisblaum-Schabak-PKW-Modellauto-1-43-Nr-1018-/291256178213?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276
  20. My VR (94) has one touch up on the drivers side if the key is still in the ignition, pretty sure my valver (92) has the same
  21. I think its a bit hit or miss to be honest, as the early ones had a different option. My valver is the crossover year (92) with the early interior however I'm pretty sure it works with one touch up, cant remember as its been a while since i've driven it, in my VR it works (94). There was a thread on here a while back discussing the differences and it didn't work for some people with later cars so there's the possibility that its a different module installed. The only way of knowing is to take the drivers rear door card off and get the code off the module.
  22. Its odd that it doesn't work for the passengers side, only drivers up but hey, strange VW electrics haha! If you know the pinouts any module should work, if its genuine VAG would be a good OEM upgrade. Also, handy to know, if you unlock the car and open the door the window will work without the key in the ignition until you close the door...Guess its for closing the window if you forgot without putting the key in the barrel
  23. What is the age of your Rado? The later cars had one touch down (both windows) and one touch up (just drivers side) with the key still in the ignition. As long as the module provides voltage for a long enough time it will work as it will mimic you holding the the switch
  24. Don't see why not, its in effect a relay with a capacitor providing power through the relay to the lights. After a short google I have found threads of people fitting them to VAG cars including someone modding it to install it in a Volvo 240 so if you know what you are doing there should be a problem. Edit: Search is your friend, question been asked before http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=54986&p=711351#post711351
