Free Stuff - Early Aqua Blue 1.8 16v - updated

I'll mark it as provisionally sold to you but I would rather hold off payment until I remove it from the car etc if that's ok? -

The wipers were already fitted to the car when I purchased it so I had no hand in the fitting of them. I have only completed a few miles in the vehicle so wiper usage is minimal but from what I remember they worked well and didn't smack into each other etc. I can't really offer much more than that TBH. -

Not removed these yet so assuming they come off ok £12 each posted ---------- Post added at 11:35 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:29 AM ---------- Handle has a lock and was working with the central locking prior to the battery being removed about 6 months ago. Would be looking for £20 posted but I won't be removing them until the car is in my garage. ---------- Post added at 11:38 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:35 AM ---------- They seem to adhere quit well to the screen for the few times I had used them. -
My local scrappies don't want to collect a free rolling shell of recycleable metal minus all the nasty bits like a petrol tank and I dont really want to tow it there so I have no option but to cut it up myself and deliver it ?? As I would far rather help out a fellow Rado owner as well as getting rid of some of the larger parts :) I am offering all the parts below for free (yes I did say free) on the condition they are collected within the next couple of weeks. Parts are used and not concourse condition but are usuable. First come first served and please keep in thread. All going to the skip some time soon ....... 4 x bilstien Shocks and springs - rusty outside but no leaks All glass including windscreen Engine subframe front cross member & rad holder If any one wants to come armed with an angle grinder to cut out a portion feel free.

Thanks Sam but that nice gentleman behind the VW parts counter has relieved me of my hard earned cash already. If only you could gain interest from the money you put into a Corrado :)

Why not contact Miltek in regards to guarantee, got to be worth a punt especially when future sales could be affected?

Looks like I will be off to the shiny VW shop tomorrow then - cheers

The "what I did to my Corrado today" thread...

Sorted my idling issue with a squirt of WD40 into the ISV and actually drove the car round the block for the first time following it's recent top end rebuild. Now to fix the rest of the issue's and get on with enjoying the summer :) -
Engine trying to escape from the bonnet....

I would swap them all out just to be on the safe side. You will have front, left and gearbox mounts - look here for reference http://www.wagenstad.com/index.php?modid=110&page=1-50-00 -
Right you lot I have driven from Lands end to nigh on John O'groats in the last couple of days and I have not seen one Corrado and believe me I have been looking. Get out in your cars so that I can do some on the move spotting reporting will you :)

Are you looking for standard or after market? I have a Magnex 16v stainless manifold & system (minus tail pipe) I bought from ShaunG60 some time ago yours for £180. Alternatively I have the original cast manifold sitting doing nothing which you can have for nowt + postage etc.

Buying them is the easy bit, fitting them is a complete pain enjoy :)

288 Front Brakes and MkIV Rears -Part Number Thread
beastie4126 replied to fendervg's topic in Drivetrain
They should be 288mm discs. The MK4 disc's are probably too shallow and will foul the hangers so you will need MK3 VR or late GTi discs. -
feeling so helpfull today here's the part numbers 357837083 (L) & 357837084 ®

You can still get these new from the Stealer, bought a pair only a couple of months ago.

Make sure your earth, alternator and battery connections are good before you write it off. Might want to make sure your battery actually has enough juice to turn it over in the first place.
