Hi all, Selling my black heated interior and all black trim parts from my G60. It is an early set being manufactured late '89. It is in excellent condition for its age and I believe the leather is all original. All bolsters are still very strong including the drivers seat. In the pics the leather hasn't been treated to any care balm in a good six months and has been dry stored so they're looking a bit dry but come up completely fantastic. The loom, switch and relay will come included for the heated elements. The seats worked and heated well before it went into dry storage six months ago. The buckle on the front passenger seat will have a cover, it has been replaced since I took the photo. Only bad points - usual cracking and wear in leather for age. Stitching on the shoulder of the passenger front seat is parting, very easily repairable. I am after £680 for the whole lot, this includes: Dash - minus center console and vents, two speakers and grills. Dash under trays both sides. All foot well kick panels. Door sill runners. Leather door cards and quarter cards. A, B and C pillar trim. All tunnel trim parts including hand brake cover. Parcel shelf supports/strut covers with speaker grills. Parcel shelf with intact straps! - Pioneer speakers are included if you want them although one doesn't work. All boot trim - does not include panel that covers spoiler motor. Front seats and rear bench including: first aid hump Heated seat loom, switch, relays. Or the seats, door cards, quarter cards, wiring loom, switch and relays on their own for £550 All the trim parts for £160 I am open to offers BUT only SENSIBLE ones please. Piccies:

Hi Rob, For which engine do you need the manifold. I see your signature lists more than one car... :) Troy.

Breaking: 1991 G60 Majority of vehicle available.

Hi Sam. I will get you some pics tomorrow. The front bumper has a few marks on it but the worst of the damage has been caused by the car being very low with the long splitter. The grills along the bottom are knackered. You'll see from the detailed pics I can send you tomorrow. Sorry dude wings have gone already I'm afraid. Troy. -

Sorry mate, the postage will be at least 3-4 quid and they're worth at least a tenner for the pair themselves. -

I am keeping the shifter dave. I do have rad brackets mate obviously they're not in perfect condition, a little scabby. How £15 posted sound? Hi stu, I will get you some detailed pics of the arms before you buy them just to show condition. The postage on parcel2go is quite high even for a two day service at £8 ish, with that in mind £30. Troy. -

In knew this would be one of the first things. Unfortunately its the early bumper, re-reading my post it wasn't quite clear. Its not in the best of condition either to be honest. I am selling the loom but I would prefer it to go with the seats that are also in the car. -
Hi All, It saddens me but it is going to serve a higher purpose. I am breaking the majority of my 1991 Black G60 Colour code L041 (I will confirm this as I'm not 100%) The car is early spec interior but with it being on a J plate the exterior is of half late half early variety. Late bonnet, wings. Early bumpers. The car has full black leather interior which is in good condition with little bolster wear. Only bad point is on the passenger front seat where the seam on the shoulder on the outside part of the seat has started to come away. Easy and cheap to get repaired. All interior trim is black Mk3 Golf VR6 front calipers, carriers and custom made braided hoses - £45 Mk4 Golf rear calipers - £40 15" 5x100 Banded steel wheels and 4x Cooper 195/45/15 tyres with at least 4 mm of tread £370 4 branch stainless Manifold - £70 Milltek exhaust system. - £100 I would like to sell the interior as a bulk for £680. It would be a real shame to split it as its such a lovely set. Parts I know I am definitely NOT selling: Engine head and block + Glader and brackets (Manifolds etc are for sale) G/box Suspension Front Sub frame and rear beam All wiring looms (except heated seat loom to go with interior) Headlights and rear lights. More or less everything else is up for grabs. I don't have the time to put a price list up so if you are interested in a specific item please PM me for a price. ***ITEMS SOLD*** Both front wings. Thanks, Troy.

What parts for the corrado would you like in Carbon Fibre?
Graphite replied to Graphite's topic in Group Buy Feelers
Aye it has. Unfortunately the other forum member who started this up with me ended up leaving the project and I have been aiming to continue on my own. I now have a full shell to mould from and hopefully I should have some working moulds in the early part of next year. My priorities have changed from working full time in Leeds to going back into full time education at Northbrook College, Shoreham in Sussex on the Motorsport Engineering course they run.. I haven't forgotten about this and I intend to re-build my corrado over the next two years with all the carbon parts I can, I have a vested interest so I should achieve something with this at some point. I also have the benefit of working with a certain specialist at the moment on a part time basis that is going to help me achieve the carbon parts idea. Watch this space. -
Hi Dave, I'd be interested in the exhaust cut out. What would you like for it?

Incredible stuff. Its amazing that the previous record holding jump altitude wise wasn't that far off Baumgartner's jump. Col. Kittenger completed his jump in the 50's as part of project excelsior. When Kittenger did one of his several very high altitude jumps there was a pin hole in one of his gloves and his hand inflated to something mad like three times its normal size.

You'd have probably been told to remove your glorified Beetle away... :) Nice to see a good strong meet. My dad has an s4 and I've always loved it. I saw a Club sport in white here the other day in immaculate condition, I was drooling.

So wait, The both yourself and the car in front were in the inside lane (on the left). He hit the brakes hard you changed to the outside lane (on the right) to avoid the collision. As you were level with him he decided he wanted to change lane and you collided. If I have understood that right then surely you mean the passenger side of the car or you got inside and outside the wrong way around. Anyway - If he brakes hard but you had to perform a maneuver to avoid him, the collision happened because he unsafely changed into the lane after you had entered it -then surely that can't be classed as a rear end accident. I believe it is technically his fault as he clearly has not used his mirrors to check that, A) He could safely brake that hard - given he wasn't braking to avoid a collision himself and therefore, B) Hasn't completed his mirror checks and hasn't checked his blind spots so he could see that you had already changed lanes. Also did he indicate as far as you could see? Or did he just violently pull into the lane. I recon that's his fault to be fair depending on what the speed was. If you were over the limit then I guess it would be pretty grey ground but if both of you were doing 70 and he has slowed to say 50 just to then change lanes into you then I think its pretty much on your side.

The combine soliders are Humans who have been mutated into soldiers using bio-mechanical systems. There are also stalkers which have been drastically mutated and provide manual/maintainence work in the citadel, link about them here: http://half-life.wikia.com/wiki/Stalker Thats a good wiki actually - it should answer most of your questions Sunderland.

Haha, I love them - the HL2 episodes are okay but not as good as HL2 itself I don't think. To bridge the gap for you: In Half Life you as Gordon Freeman start off the reaction that opens the transport portal to the border worlds where all the aliens came from. When that happened a race of space aliens called the Combine decided they would Invade Earth (what the reason for this was I can't remember) There was a war that followed called the 7 hour war and earth was defeated. Dr Wallace Breen made a deal with the combine to secure his safety and he became the Combine's Administrator of earth. Humankind are in slavery and that's pretty much it until you start HL2. I'm sure that's kind of accurate any how :)

Hi Chris, Well when you do take it out and its ready to go let me know just in case I haven't managed to sort anything out. What are you putting in its place? I need the 9a for a 16vG60 conversion I'm doing. Troy.

Hi Rod, I am down in Worthing, West Sussex. BN11 Postcode if you want to check distance. I am free at weekends at the moment so if you need a hand removing the engine I can come and help out. How much did you have in mind for the complete lot, how many miles etc... Troy.

Hi Guys, Need to source a 9A engine with as much as possible. I need at least: The block Intake Throttle body Alternator Cheers, Troy.

In the original posted video at around 3:40 the sound is suspiciously like those in the Half-life 2 PC game.... Hoaxes in my opinion. Although things captured on actual scientific equipment like 'the BLOOP' for example are much more credible.

I think you would need to have seen and been in the car to know that it is worth every penny in my opinion. Personally I have (extremely) luckily had the pleasure of seeing AND I have been (extremely, extremely) luckily had the amazing pleasure of being in this car also. A 20vT running 280 will not beat the sound, smell, power delivery and all round experience. I have been driven in a 20vT corrado running 300 and it didn't feel close to John's car at all. I agree that the engineering may not be appreciated by a lot of people however, I think that helps (for me) to justify the price. If I had a lack of knowledge and gave some one a brief to build me something like this it would probably not be the desired result and I would probably spend more in the long run. John is an excellent engineer and the car is what I would Imagine VW would have produced if they had produced a cup/supersport version as a limited model. The engineering work done has been on the same German thought chain. If I had 12.5k lying around I would ring John this second... but I guess I feel so strongly as I have seen and been in the car to know that it wouldn't be a waste of the money.

Hi all, I have a set of four banded steel wheels in 16" (I believe these are 7.5j front and 8.5j rears) They are from a renault of some kind so therefore have a PCD of 4x100 They are currently painted in two different colours, white and red and could really do with being refurbished. I will offer these as they are for £250 if you want to do the hard work yourself, or £400 refurbished with your choice of colour if you want to provide a colour code. They are probably one of a kind as I doubt anyone has any with the same design, a fantastic winter wheel! I will post pics on Monday when I can get to them as they're in storage. I may also be able to get you a deal on tyres if you can provide me the size you would like to fit to them. I'm having internet issues at the moment so if you are interested call 07809644277. Troy. **Here's a pic of them when they were grey, I know its small but will give you an idea**

Hi all, I have a G60 gearbox, mileage unknown but in good working order £50 collection only, can arrange to meet possibly half way from Retford DN22 if you can contribute some fuel money. I also have another G60 box that has no end plate and a broken gearbox mounting eyelet on the bell housing however the internals have only done roughly 10k since they were refurbished. I bought this box as a re-conditioned exchange when my original box blew as it had no oil in it for 15k miles. As internals are okay I'm asking for £30 same deal on shipping. HOWEVER, if you want both to put the known mileage internals into the good casing I will give you both boxes for £70... I also have a 1.8 16v KJET ISV known to be in good working order from a valver I broke about two years ago. £30 plus £5 postage. Having issues with net access at the moment so call 07809644277 if interested. Cheers, Troy.

Hi guys, After finding more parts I have discovered I have almost a full black interior spare. I have everything apart from the seats, the centre console insert for the dash and the gear gaiter. I have all interior trims, carpets and door cards and rear quarter cards exept for the parts listed above. All in black... I'd like to sell this as a set but given the few missing things I'm not sure how desirable it would be... Some pics below. I'm looking for 200 for it all, it would be collection only. Cheers.

He's paid for them mate, I may have another one somewhere, I'll PM you if I find it.

Oh, you know what I mean!!!
