I used to run BBS RC041 and 042's on my G60.. they looked awesome and I used H&R trak+ adapters with 25mm front and 20mm rear spacing. I didn't have any rubbing issues either.
-
If the ignition switch bypass does not work try replacing the ECU relay on the relay panel with the fusebox. I had a very similar issue with my G60 where it would just randomly die and randomly just start working again. I got lights on dash, fuel pump prime etc but just wouldn't start. The relay for the G60, not sure if it's the same for a 16v was about £12.50 from dealer... I had my immobilizer ripped out... then replaced the coil, dizzy and rotor, leads. Spent over 400 quid diagnosing a faulty £13 quid relay... fail... Troy.

I have for sale my awesome banded steels based on Renault steel wheels that have been professionally welded. They have 2x toyo proxes that have at least 5mm of tread on the rears 9j rears 8j fronts Fronts are a different colour to rears as friend who I acquired these from wa trying out odd body colours for his g60. Looking for 350 Ono collected from littlehampton Sussex. Need these gone ASAP!!

Is that a picture of the ones from your friend's car?
-
I'm not sure they exist as a genuine item. All the leather interior in the early cars I have seen have only had plastic handles. The early interior that was in my G60 had plastic ones. To be honest I think your friends may have been modified at some point, how long has he owned the car for?

I happen to have a set of mk4 rear calipers for sale too!

£10 for the cowling, rough quote for next day is 8.99 on parcel to go or 6.50 for 48 hours.
-
No problem mate. Just thought of another. Check that your radiator fan is free spinning. Unlikely to have seized in storage but you never know! Also on the note of coolant change I would do two changes. Firstly drain it and fill it with just water and then run the engine for a short period (4-5 mins) to move the fluid about then drain again and re-fill with actual 50/50 coolant mix. Troy.

Piccies of the exhaust, sorry for the delay. I hate BT and they're really taking time to get my broadband sorted. -
I have a used radiator fan cowling from a non AC G60. It doesn't have any holes but is a bit rusty, a quick rub down and a spray with some satin black will sort it right out.

Get as much of the old fuel syphoned out if there's more than 5 liters in there. If there's 5 or less then just fill the tank with fresh good quality fuel and like RW says, put a decent fuel treatment in with it to flush the fuel lines. If you have any way of getting the car in the air even slightly its worth checking the bushes in the lower arms/wishbones where they meet the sub frame and the rear beam bushes. A quick visual inspection will do if they look like they've cracked over time and have splits in them then change the arms and beam bushes. Also check your PAS fluid level and check its the right type. Only use Genuine VW/Febi green mineral PAS fluid, not the red Dexron based stuff like all mechanics seem to sling in the car...

I'm tempted to send him a message asking if the colour of the car in the pictures when its inside the building is a genuine Audi colour or not :)

Ferrari f430 replica body kit group buy? Final Numbers!
Graphite replied to EJ Taylor's topic in Forum Group-Buys
I have only just seen this excellent Group Buy thread and I am hoping I am not too late to get in on this amazing opportunity!! I would like to inquire on behalf of Enzo Ferrari himself who when he saw this fantastic replica kit turned in his grave so fast he came back to life! The world renowned car marque's original creator has demanded that the company's production lines use exactly this kit to complete all future F430's to be produced, Mr Ferrari also discussed purchasing options with a view to using this kit for all future Ferraris to be produced as he believes this looks so good he almost died for a second time. I personally must add that upon seeing this car it looked so good I could actually see it and agree whole heartedly with Mr Ferrari! Please could you contact me with great urgency with regards to this matter and please put down the Scuderia Ferrari Automobile Company down for a prospective 125000000000000000 kits. Kind Regards, Ray Charles. -
I will let you guys know if the trim ends up being broken up. Troy.
-
For the time being i want to sell it as a set, if that becomes unlikely to happen then I might consider splitting the trim into a separate sale. What are you after, just out of interest?

Window trim is going with the black interior that I would like to keep as a set. I can do the sunroof panel seal, if you mean the one that runs around the metal plate that's visible from the outside of the car. £12 posted? Didn't have one to start with when I got the car, sorry mate. PAS pump and pipes were knackered all leaking like mad. I'll check the wiper motor to see if its still working for you, it was a bit ropey. sure we can do a deal if there's anything else from your list. Apologies to you by the way, I will have some pics of the exhaust for you this evening, I have a mobile broadband dongle that I have to use to access the internet which isn't the most reliable thing in the world. Troy. -

Hi Sam, Well a tenner will do for the bumper as its in rough shape. Do you need the iron as well? Postage will be a bit of a bugger to be fair mate. I'll look into it alternatively I drive a diesel so maybe we could meet half way for some petrol money. I'll get info on postage together tomorrow for you. Troy. -

You can see the general condition of the bumper below. It's probably repairable in some way but can't guarantee it. -
More piccies because of the silly image post limit:
