Cost of tax for a year will be £205 for 12 months. Insurance is too hard to guess. Depends on age, experience, NCB etc. Best bet is to try the search engines, but not all the companies are listed on them, so ring around for more quotes. Check out the insurance section of the forum for affiliated insurers that do discounts for corrado members. Personally I've found admiral to be very good

Just spotted an L reg VR6 at the top of my street in Bradley Stoke! Think it was Dark burgundy pearl, but never been good with IDing the purpley/burgundy colours :? Looks in good nick anyway

Hi I'm looking for a decat pipe, but understand that there are a variety of lengths, sizes. I've got a 91 G60, but would a cat from a 16v fit for instance? Cheers Dom

Saw an N reg in grey heading the opposite way from me, down the A36 towards Warminster.
-
Saw a mystic blue storm crossing the swing bridge from hamworthy to Poole quay
-
Spotted white J reg 16v parked up in Poole, not far from the museum

Did you get a new chip to match the stage 4 charger work? Not sure why that would cause power loss but should be done anyway Have you checked for leaks in the boost pipes?

Watched 2001: Space Odyssey last night for the first time I'll have to score it ?/10 as I have no idea wtf that was about! The whole thing with HAL and the spaceship was awesome, but the ending, i'm not so sure..........

Nah just a local trading estate, always quiet on a sunday for some piccies :D
-
Was it an M reg? I've seen a green vr6 around cribbs and the same one again at aztec west but was moving so couldn't tell for sure if it was a storm. Certain he's a local.

The alfa 3.2 v6 and the RX8 too!!! FFS I'm starting to think the days of fast cars could be numbered =[ At this rate were all going to be driving round with I4 engines and stop start bollocks, or even I2s like in the fiat 500.

Probably this ^^^^ About £30 per corner for the springs AND damper and still money left over for someone to make a profit. Doesn't sound like they'd be made to a very high standard tbh.
-
Well it looks like TSR only sell wossner pistons. Looking at their catalogue they have similar part numbers for G60 pistons (K9106D150), maybe they are an older/obselete part number.

Damn I'm jealous! One day I have to go out and do this. I must have driven hundreds and hundreds of laps on games like GTR and Forza so I'd love to see what its like in real life. Only I'd worry my car would die going round it :(
-
Well standard G60 pistons are 80.985mm nominal. Just whether they are oversize or not. Have you tried ringing TSR? Or know of anyone with a micrometer?
-
Thanks for the advice. I could give it a go, but unlikely to sell on the badges after reading up on that tigerseal stuff. That stuff sounds solid!
-
Hmm yh, I had considered the recess being a problem but wasnt sure if anyone has refitted their old badges. I suppose I could still get the Corrado, G60 and supercharged badges back on, but probably wouldnt look the same without the VW one in the middle

Hi So one of the previous owners of my car has smoothed the boot, which looks nice, but i'd like to get it back to standard I know the badges can still be purchased (or at least replicas) but not sure how they would mount. Didnt the originals have those little blue pins which mounted them to the body? I'm thinking some sort of adhesive, but not sure what (if any) would hold the badges on properly Any ideas? Cheers Dom

Looking really good, loving those wheels too. Looks so much better than mine as its lowered (and clean :) ) but right now my money has to go on mechanicals not aesthetics :(
-
What model/engine? Its fuse 21 on a 91 G60 if that helps?? EDIT: Ciggy lighter is 21 on all models, but coupled with interior lights and MFI on most.

Good to hear its coming along, always good to see a conversion going well. Looks like you could do with a new number plate though  -
Gear change is fine when moving, but pulling away from a stop is a bit juddery. And going back down the box to slow down is a bit clunky. Think I better have a look at them soon.
-
Might be worth considering. Think its the GB mount that needs doing, is there a way to check each mount without crawling under the car?
-
Pray the coolant light goes out Engine on Pray the oil light goes out Windows/sunroof open when hot Tunes get louder once i leave my street Wait till 80 degrees oil temp before thrashing it, unless really necessary :)

Do the VT mounts wear out, or are they fit and forget? When I see them advertised the blurb says they don't deteriorate like other mounts, or is that bollocks? Got one on my car but one/all the mounts are shagged. Not looked into which one yet :?
