  1. Yes mine, worryingly, is like this. I've still got the suspension to overhaul so hopefully fixable. Did you replace the ball joints? Have you had the geometry set up properly? And stupid question but are your tyre pressures ok? Only other thing I could think of would be the steering rack itself.
  2. Ah yes, maybe I've got them confused. The ECU pipe must be exactly 1 metre long, incidentally. So check for length and leaks
  3. Check the vacuum tube on the back of the instrument cluster is properly attached and has no leaks. The mpg is calculated from the manifold pressure IIRC so a leaky tube will effect the reading. Dom
  4. Wow looks in real nice condition. Those wheels look amazing.
  5. Yup looks like it's fixed, cheers. Haven't noticed any other sub-forums with this problem.
  6. I have exactly the same problem. I always change to last post time in descending order but it always reverts back. This happens on multiple computers and on my mobile =[
  7. Yikes, it takes a brave man to buy a corrado without seeing it in the flesh. Hopefully she's a good 'un. I remember how excited I was when I went to get mine. There's a buyers guide in the knowledge base here, full of useful information: http://wiki.the-corrado.net/the_corrado_buying_guide_checklist.html Hopefully you'll be a happy owner Dom
  8. The bentley says exactly that for VR6s; 90Nm plus 1/8th of turn. But guessing thats where you have already looked!?
  9. Yeah its huge, its from a 12 litre truck engine I think. The clutch is pretty impressive too. Its a multiplate carbon one the size of a phone but can deal with all that power!
  10. Just come across this thread: http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-dyno-tuning-results/447351-highest-hp-4g63-engine-2007-a.html Some tuners in greece have got 1400hp from a 2 litre evo running 57psi of boost! The thread is really long, and quite difficult to follow as the tuners replies are broken english. But the real porn starts on page 9 and 15 Highlights include 9000cc injectors, metal matrix composite con rods, 13:1 CR berylium pistons, titanium valves and copper berylium valve seats They've also made a 400hp NA 2 litre cosworth engine :bonk: Serious stuff.......
  11. Is there a CAPTCHA when you sign up? I can't remember it was that long ago, but they're getting harder and harder for even humans to get right so might keep out spam users.
  12. From the sounds of it, you'll leave one end of the main pipe open to atmosphere? Wouldn't recommend that as your charger will be sucking on anything that goes into the pipe. I originally removed the main pipe completely, stuck a breather filter on the ISV, blanked the 2nd charger inlet and ran a pipe from the crankcase breather out the bottom of the engine bay. Now I've got the crankcase breather hooked back up to the charger so I'm not venting oil vapour to atmosphere. My throttle body just vents to atmosphere, but this does cause whistling at part throttle, putting a short run of silicone tubing from the TB is supposed to stop this. Regarding lubing the charger, there's plenty of debate about it. If you've had your charger ported then the PTFE spray can eventually clog around the outlet and undo all of your expensive porting work. Can't think why the charger needs to be lubed anyway as the bearings are supplied with oil and the apex strips are self-lubricating.
  13. Yup same thing here. The forum is now completely impossible to use on my phone now, what am I going to do at work now!?
  14. Thanks for the heads up, thought I would need a very large breaker bar. I'll have to get my hands on a larger torque wrench though as I don't think FT will cut it!
  15. Think it allows you to 'like' threads and share what you write on here with facebook (not sure why you would though??)
  16. Damn that is bad luck. I was actually thinking of doing my CV joints soon. Did you have any problems getting the hub nut off?
  17. Welcome along. Good choice on the G60, but then I am biased. I grew up in Milton Keynes so good to see another localer!

    Hi!!

Welcome alomg. Stick a post up in the engine bay section about your misfire, you will get more views and hopefully a solution!
  19. Spotted a violet (maybe?) H reg in the Mall car park by M&S in Bristol at about 4 ish today
  20. Been a while since I've updated this post. Got my DIY charger outlet fitted, god that original silencer box is a b*****d to remove! Can't say i've noticed any better response but boy does it make the charger scream at top end! I've also reconnected my crankcase breather back to the supercharger inlet (rather than the bottom of my engine bay). Also some other small jobs done like fitting uprated headlight loom, new cluster bulbs. Still got plenty on the to do list: Repair both door handles Fit my Koni suspension (at long last) Fit remote central locking kit Change the heater blower motor and foliage seal Do all the mounts Get the cambelt done Swap my 90mm for 50mm splitter (courtesy of CazzaVR) and get some legal rubber on my new wheels: Plenty to be cracking on with and no doubt some more things will crop up as they usually do! and its MOT time come March so better pull my finger out Dom
  21. On a related note Lidl are selling powder fire extinguishers for £6.99 from Monday. Think i'll pick one up just in case!
  22. Could we get the strikethrough command activated for posts? Useful for crossing off sold items, mistakes etc.
