Hi all, I work for a company called CARNOISSEUR (http://www.carnoisseurdirect.com/). The kit we are supplying is the bi-xenon So i need 10 or more people to up for this so i can sell them for £92.00 plus £8 P+P  (via paypal) BARGAIN!!! The HID Kits that I am selling are of a good quality and are very easy to fit. :D For your convience I have done a quick installation guide to prove it affectivness. Tools Required -Flat headed screwdriver -Phillips screwdriver -Cordless dril (makes life easier) :D 1. Remove headlights by un-screwing, the are 3 sercuring screws two on top of the slam panel and the 3rd is under-neath the slam panel (through a little hole), Once unscrewed carefully remove headlamp, dont forget to disconnect the mulit-plug. 2. Remove grille (be carefull as the tabs can be brittle) 3. Find where you want to mount the control boxes.(I mounted one beside the battery and the othe behind the lamp unit it self) 4. Route the cable along the crossbeam being carefull not to trap any wires, then cable tie down to secure. 5. You now need to drill two small hone for the earth(where ever suitable) making sure the contact point is clean from any dirt or paint. 6. Connect the battery terminal to battery. 7. Plug the corresponding connecters together. 8. Now for the bulbs themselves, Remove the H4 bulb and put the HID bulb in carefully 9. Offer the headlamp onto the car making sure you not trapping any wires. 10. Once your happy with the fit connect the rest off the plugs together, and remember to re-plug the multi-plug (on headlamp) together, also connect the H4 plug to the H4 socket. 11. Screw headlamps back on, refit grill JOB DONE EASY Please dont hesitate to ask any questions. http://www.carnoisseurdirect.com http://thecarnoisseurforum.forumotion.net/index.htm [email protected] 01582 477441 also facebook carnoisseur dunstable Thank you

Yeah its a 2.0, tried unplugging the ISV made little or no difference, while check to see if the 3pin connector is ok, if not that what else would it be :help: :brickwall:

On sunday i decided to clean the throttle body, but couldnt get on the the studs out, so i took the whole manifold, while i had the manifold off the car i attempted to remover to stuck stud, Again it wouldnt budge :mad2: , so i decided to leave it be and do my best to clean the throttle body on the manifold. Got it respectably clean and put it back on the car, while i was there i cleaned the ISV out. The car started wihtout any problems  , went out that night and drove beautifully, but on the way home it started playing up lossing power and wouldnt go anywhere unless i put my foot down  . Monday morning i started the car no probs, drove off the drive no probs, 5 mins up the road NO POWER AGAIN, had to pull over in a bus stop, the engine was nearly stalling and hunting away :censored: , turned it off, and started again no probs, managed to get it back home. Not sure if it has anything to do with what i done because it drove fine and what not just after the cleaning. Any ideads would be great :notworthy:

i have the same prob now, what was it in the end?

The C has died again, on the way to work and lost power, had to limp it back home with full throttle to keep it running :mad2: , then had to use a vectra to get me to work :gag: , Havent a clue whats up wiht it this time  any thoughts would be great. FORZA RULES

bought forza yesterday, what a f***ing brilliant game :D , i couldnt stop playing, so god dam tired today though lol  , but does anyone else think the corrado looks a bit narrow?.
-
Saw this and thought WOW !!! What do u guys think
-
the headgasket a go in different place not just between cylinder, so it could go by the water ways, or oil, or both :( , does the car loose any water. Best thing to do is get the car up to temp, then give it a few revs, if the smoke is still there something not right the headgasket, if it doesnt, it could be a build up of water in the tailpipe. ???
-
then if its filling the street, it could be anti-freeze getting into the exhaust chambers causing a james bond like fog  . Sometimes a headgasket can go but leave no maho in the oil. :mad2: . Best thing to do if you think ur headgasket has gone is go to your local garage and get them to do a anti-freeze test. :)

could well be condensation, espically now the weather has turned

heres one of the sites i used to get to know the ke-jet fuel system http://www.pdf-search-engine.com/ke-jetronic-pdf.html just look through the different pdfs. hope u solve it soon :D
-
unfortunately haynes dont do a specific manual for the corrado, but the vw passat manual does as it has the same engine. To be honest u dnt need a manual as they are a basic mechanical system, theres a document on the k-jetronic system and how to fix and understand it, i will look now for it :D

i had the same prob, i replaced the thermo-time switch and cleaned all my earths problem FIXED
-
for now i think the problem is fixed, new thermo-time swicth and cleaned all the earth points, also new ISV,
-
Just had another thought, have u checked the micro-switches on the throttle body as these stick and if the idle switch is sticking or the full throttle is sticking will cause endless problems
-
 sorry, im thinking thermo-time switch, which is the 2pin switch under the dizzy :D
-
check the wires on the connector, to be honest not sure if its going to be that one thing, its more likely to be 3 or more things, check the 2 pin temp switch under the dizzy making sure its connected properly, clean the earth strap on the dizzy housing and the block earth. Also try a different ISV. Does it run ok whenit warms up?
-
just a quick let ya know type thing, i have cured my idle problem, by cleaning the earth strapping on the dizzy and the main engine/gearbox earth strap, starts a treat and run beautifully good luck!
