Does anyone know of any famous corrado owners ? I know shaun ryder from the happy mondays owned a VR6 storm, i remember reading he had it pinched and it was involved in a bank robbery 8) , i bet he was gutted. And Quentin wilson (Top Gear) has owned one, i saw on the vortex site the other night that a corrado was featured in the film RONIN they have AVI stills on the site, itried to find the video, its in the house somewhere (saddo) :lol:

Its a funny thing jim, once yove owned a vw, you never seem to be able to be happy with any other model, ive owned most models of vw but think the corrado is one of the best, i had a mint VR6 before the corrado, even though it was wickedly fast i still wanted the corrado. but at the time i couldnt find a tidy enough VR6 c, so settled for a 1.816v

17s and not lowered its a 91 1.816v, Been lovingly cared for by a lady owner ! Believe it or not the pics were taken in the daylight the camera and the sun playing tricks on the eye!

G 60 jet i had the same problem, and used Rad weld 2 months ago and it seems to have worked ok but it is only a quick fix, i think the rads are about £70

cheers bananaman, There not that bad but the rest of the interior is fairly mint so you know how it is one thing leads to another, and id like to keep the car for another year so its worth doing before my fat arse makes them worse

Went to the dealers today to get a price (again) for the side bolster and base on the drivers seat, To my horror they have discontinued everything like that :? 2 months ago i had a price ! wish i had bought them then :cry:

I always use stealer Gaskets, Remember Vag parts fit first time every time ! :)

Ive just been to my local dealer to pick up my 16v key 8) £20 !!! and i enquired on those rubber roof strips and he was adamant they are £50 quid each :?
