(even factoring in his relatively young years of "life" experience)......Well he should have thought of that when he was giving me abuse where i come from if you can give it you should be able to take it

    Audi TT 225

Nelson, I asked for peoples comments which i have taken in but but didn`t expect in your words (the people who own them are genuinely all shallow wannabee w*****s!) Anyway your clearly upset now  So now you no how i felt ! And for the record i wasn`t trying to lose the respect of everyone on here as I value everyones opinion, Nice try though ! Don`t suppose i`ll be getting any cheap parts of you then :) By the sound of it im gonna be needing them  I love a good Row

    Audi TT 225

Ahh well considering the TT shares its platform with the golf, A3, Bettle and its other cousins these must surely share the same problems! Mind you im sure you`l no better! You clearly don`t like the TT which you are entitled to your own opinion, Being a Volkswagen Audi enthusiast for more than 15 years now and owning majority of models and having a three page spread in VW motoring for A Modified Golf GTI gives me enough experiance to make my own judgments! There are obvious niggly problems with the TT as its a production car just like any other. As we CORRADO owners Know only too well  I think you have an issue with theTT as nobody could paint it any blacker than you. As you quoted (The TT is without doubt the worst car Audi have made in the last 20 years, I wouldn't wish one upon my worst enemy.) which gives Audi more experiance than you As they say There`s No Substitute For Experiance

    Audi TT 225

Well what a good advertisement for AUDI he is then  All the owners opinions iv`e read seem to conclude that the TT is a car not without fault but generally performs well and is fairly reliable, Anyway ilike a challenge

    Audi TT 225

Been to my local Audi dealership today to have a look at a225 one that was advertised in the trader for £16000 but the salesman said it was sold weeks ago , WHY do they do this all they have to do is take it of the trader, Anyway I told him i was after a 225 TT Quatro and he proceeds to show me a 180 bhp one in 2 wheel drive and a 150 brake Roadster they just don`t get it do they, anyway they really are very well put together and very smart sports car in my opinion and the salesman had a good look at the corrado too 8) , Next door is a VW dealeship ther was a lovely VR6 there in silver lookedlike a customers car
  12. Ive got one on my 91 16v it was on when i got it and they have used black cable ties you can`t see them unless you look hard and it holds fine :)
  13. What does everyone think of the Audi TT, As im thinking of getting one (obviously keeping the Corrado though) Ive been doing some reading up on this car and as much as the press tend to slag it off genuine owners seem to like it for its build quality aswell as its performance, I know everyone says its a hairdresors car i still think its one off the smartest coupes about at the moment, but will i be dissapointed and should i buy the S3 8) Not interested in BMWs cos they SUCK :) ! Anybody
  14. Alanvw Sounds to me your giving up too easily I own a 1.816v myself and they can be hard work i know as i have also owned a VR6 which is a totally different machine, you need a good exhaust and filter and it will feel more responsive straight away, mine goes very well to be fair and make sure it is set up right you really have to drive the 16v hard to get the best out of it exploit all of its performance and they are fun 0-60 in just over 8 seconds and 131mph top speed is not slow even in todays standards and believe me ive had more than 131mph out of mine, Too many people slag the 1.8 16v off but remember it was the benchmark corrado in the uk so lets have some respect also after driving a standard G60 it did`nt feel any quicker than my car
  15. Yeeh baby just got home and im rather drunk i think ill have 2 of them 24 vALVE jobbies one in the front and one in the back............. why not
  16. Cheers Kev, I have read that the turbo conversion is wicked if its set up right and do fancy the idea but wonder if its cost effective against the VR6 install, as this project is only in the pipeline i will have to do some thinking...
  17. Anyone got any ideas on what sort of money this conversion would cost as i was thinking about this, My car has only done 65000 miles and i think a conversion like this would be money well spent as i will be keeping the car for a long while yet, I would have a go at this myself as i have rebuilt a couple of VW engines in the past (GOLF GTI days) :) And my brother is a diagnostic technician for Mercs. But havn`t really got the time and no Garage, My car is the 1.8 16v also wonder if it would be cheaper to slap a VR6 in it. Any ideas please 8)
  18. Hi Heardy, Im using eibach springs and billstein shocks they are an excellent compromise and good quality shocks and im running 17s so if 20VTURBOs selling these i would snap his hand off :)

    Milltec backfire

Two Questions After having my superb milltec on for a week now I have noticed a loud Backfire after say coming off the sliproad of the carriagway if you accelerate hard to the Redline on changing to second it pops loudly, im wondering if the combination of the K&N and Milltec have changed the emissions slightly and its over fueling it doesnt seem to be pinking :? Any ideas.. Also ive just put four TOYO proxes t1s on 205/40/17s and wondering how long they take to run in as they dont seem to feel as good in the dry as the nasty old Stunners i had before. the tyre fitter didnt seem to know what pressures to put in, He`s put 36 front and 34 rear im wondering if this is too much.. any ideas please :?
