Hi Folks, I'm looking for the part number for the coil pack for a 1993 2.0l 16v 9a. I can't see it on mine and I'm wanting to get a new one. Also if you know the best place to get one from it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Andy

Cheers, Seats were replaced as they were not comfy enough for me ( I broke my neck 4 years ago ) and was at the point of selling the Corrado as I couldn't get comfy in it. After much sitting around in different cars, the Subaru had the comfiest seats in that was in my budget for buying and these in particular matched what I wanted to do with the interior 8)

He who dares ................. You can manipulate the right material to cover whatever you want, as long as you apply the correct adhesive and that requires the removal of the original material. I'll give it a go and let you know the results :salute:
-
Cheers for the advice Kip :salute: Just one more..........................will a hairdryer do the trick? Cheers, Andy

Hi Folks, going to try a full interior re-trim in the car and this will be done by myself  But before I start this I need to remove the material from the original door cards etc. Do I just use a little heat or is there more to it?? Cheers in advance, Andy

Well, been tinkering again :) Was fed up of seeing the scabby old door handles and had seen some 'rado's with the early style Passat rears put on to de-lock them 8) I wasn't a fan of the square style of the passat rears so I looked for something else  Ended up buying some ate style Passat rears that needed some modifying but I like the challenge of making things fit  So, after some filing, drilling & tapping, along with a bit of masterful welding from a good Mate. These came off......... And I have now got these on...... 8) Now you see it.............. Now you dont :) :) Just going to go out now and clean the 245,950 greasy fingerprints off the doors :(

VR6 south for the Passat handles, fast delivery & the parts are in great condition 8) Cheers

Hi Peeps, Having a bit of trouble recently. When the car is sat in traffic, the fuel pump under the car starts getting noisy and eventually stops :mad2: At first I thought it was the fuel pump so I bought a new one and carried on thinking it was all sorted.............. until today :( It spluttered to a halt again, this time I knew the tell tale signs that it was going to do it and pulled over  . When I turn the ignition on the fuel pump is making a churning noise, only when it quietens down (sounds like there is fuel to it) do I know that it will fire up. Is there another fuel pump in the fuel tank or is there something else under the car that would make it starve itself?? Many thanks in advance, Andy

Cheers Wompa :) I decided to remove the bump strips off the sides as they were different shades of grey :( ..............ooooops  Turns out that they've been off before, lots of screwdriver pry marks and some strange liquid plastic bonding stuff used. It was too late and they had to come off :pale: Off to the bodyshop it went :( 3 days later and all is good again  The haters will love what I've done with the roof   Andy
