  1. ok so my corrado never let both windows go down at the same time, ever. I was wondering if this was normal or if this isnt supposed to happen? also my window control module was sucking .2A when my car was off so I have to get a new one.... is there a better replacement for the module part number is 191 959 875, wondering if I can replace with one from a passat or something 375 I think are the 3 starting digits... I really would like to have both windows go down and up at the same time...
  2. crazy dave = my hero, never would have thought of that and Im sure it will work.
  3. ok guys turned the car off at 6:50 pm tried to turn it on at 7:30 am and my battery was dead, just had the battery replaced (month ago) and the alternator is putting out 14.1V... it slowly leaks out, this has happened a few times in the past month, but my question is what is a common source of this problem in a corrado? my friend said it might be my sunroof motor...
  4. speaking of the tap water thing, its just HHO gas, water molecules realign easier to do with an HHO generator that costs 7k, they work much more efficiently than the silly cell. took it to a mass spec at school. but it will run an engine, so will using compressed air.
  5. 2.0L 4-cylinder turbodiesel, which develops 134hp and 247 lb-ft of torque instead of the old 1.9, it had less boost and way less hp & torque =-)
  6. VEEDUBBED. I am going to be running a BBM stage V chip on my car that is mapped for a 250 kpa map sensor, the stage 5 sns chip was mapped for a 200kpa map sensor. my cars supercharger can put out 29 psi, proven on another corrado on streetfire and a 2.0L ABA golf (who then proceeded to blow his engine). I will be bleeding boost in excess of 23 psi for a while till I can drive the 1000 miles to atlanta and have them map me a 300 kpa system. currently there are no 300 kpa chips available, as far as the guy on ebay screw him dont use that piece that he is selling (when they say 300kpa for G60, that bs). I have a 250 kpa map sensor left over here somewhere I will sell you, you could also go get one from a B5 passat TDI ECU. mine is a motorola MPX4250 samg60 is running one in his car I think, with a 200 kpa ECU and it runs fine, I have the same setup right now till I get my new ECU. I have the wiring diagrams for an mpx4250 but the B5 passat is a straight swap pin for pin. yes it fits the housing and you just have to keep the hose length the same. if you want to map a 300 kpa map sensor for a turbo you should talk to SNS about a mapping session because my map is gonna be quite a bit different than a turbo map. Eiptuning has a G60 turbo Rom but I dont think it goes past 14.5 psi like all G60 maps. 250 kpa is the way to go until people get their act together... =-/
  7. I have a G60, no VR6 here, no black box with fuses in front of expansion tank. changed the fuel pump relay, also getting a new battery, my battery has a dead cell in it. thanks guys, this should fix the problem, if not I will holler back.
  8. Thing turns on randomly, one time it was on in the freezing cold night, couldnt figure it out for the life of me, so its definitely not the pressure switch? keeps EATING my battery gonna try a relay and see what happens I guess, damn mail order BS parts.
  9. ok so my fuel pump is acting up and staying on when the car is off. I can hear it in the back, is the relay fried or the pressure switch or the fuel pump itself? just eats my battery up so starting in the morning is uber bad, I have no power leaks.
  10. basically I need a 12V ACC line in the engine bay, I would have used my oil pressure gauges line but its only putting out 7V because of the zillions of other things attached to it. when I rev the car its 11.8V but I need 12V line somewhere in the engine bay or I have to draw it from somewhere else, speaking of which, which line from under the ignition is my 12V ACC, the black and yellow striped one? I put this in engine bay because I dont know where the heck it goes.
  11. IHI G60, funny name you have got there, my supercharger was made by IHI in japan =-), Im guessing thats where your turbo was made. anyway glad to hear you kept both, ben listen to this man!!!!

nah its ok my solution works, I just think its funny that I can install a supercharger from a different car that doesnt even fit in my car then install an oil cooler and a 3" FMIC into the front of my car but I cant seem to install a fecking hood shock because the instructions suck or are non existant.

yes but there is a large difference between UK corrados and their radiator positioning. we use the first hole that the kit says to use, you use the 2nd hole, now we cant use the 2nd hole because there is a pipe in the way, and we cant use the first hole because there is a 90 degree thingy for the radiator. why couldnt VW just make up their mind....
  14. tight is an understatement, this is why it took 9 months to get right! all I can say is engineering classes paid off during this whole thing, oh and you are looking at about 260 @ wheels with a stock flywheel so about 320 at the crank, on a stocker. yes I will need headgaskets monthly if I crank the boost up.

yes pics please, well I said screw it and decided to mount it next to the big hole for the strut tower on the US passenger side of the car., got to lift it a little but it eventually takes over. I still want to see where the damn thing is supposed to go because its BS when you get instructions in german, no pictures and nothing relating to a corrado at all.
  16. rarak69, they are a pain in the rear to find, I have a store that sold me mine holding the next one he gets for me =-). I think that guy is the only one on there that sells them, dunno saw one from an SL55 AMG a while back would have sold for 500 dollars but I was lazy and I didnt want it, it was like 2.2L per revolution, it was massive. if I can figure a way to mount it I would use it but I think the fan would get in the way.
  17. gonna do the fuel once I move, got all the parts just need to get it done. car is set up for 16 psi right now, gonna run that for a little while. oh and that big 3 way valve is so I can shut off all boost and have it blow on the engine if I want to run on the freeway (long distances).
  18. well ben its sad to see it go, I guess I will have to take the place of the 340 bhp corrado =-) I finished mine today =-). Its alive hope to see yours in person one day, only 7000 miles away!
  19. still working on the engine to run off what I believe is just HHO gas. anyway supercharger is done =-) thought I might just get it over with and stop dicking around. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... &start=135

I HATE INXX AND THERE STUPID INSTRUCTIONS!!!!! NO THIS KIT DOESNT WORK ON A US G60 ENGINE unless someone has a picture of it on a G60...
  21. uh yeah... funny thing was the EMF shut down my weed wacker engine 3 feet away... still I'll stick with logic for this groups sakes... haha low petrol price? are you kidding me? there is a difference in the economy of the us and the uk, you have a lot of takes, so do we. your per year spendable dollar is about 2 times that of ours tho... go figure. and we dont have free health care.
  22. call it what you will, but in the end I have found with a mass spec analysis that its just HHO gas, however under vacuum this thing produces mass amounts of it like hundreds of liters per minute if under good vacuum. anyway thats why you advance it, HHO gas implodes. engine runs not so much right now, I am working on 2 things, the massive supercharger for the corrado and this, this is on hold because it makes more sense to finish the 9 month project than to start the 2 month project. yeah I dont know about the levitation BS, that was a belief lost long ago.
  23. oh thats right you are using a GTI box arent you? yeah Im using a stock G60 ECU with a 250 kpa chip. I have a 250 kpa sensor but the 250 kpa chip doesnt go above 21 psi, no one that I know of makes a 300 kpa map sensor for a g60 ecu. well at least you have a new coat of paint on that beast
