I know..... but can I advance a C that far? -

no.... it is not, thats why I said this will get locked, because the thing violates physics. Im not kidding guys, can I advance my car to whatever I want, without the computer taking over? coming from an engineering major, I know this will work. =-) -
abandoned supercharger for now, I need to remove my oxygen sensor from my corrado (without the computer knowing) and I need to advance my engine to 70 degrees advance. dont ask my why. google search joe cell. can I just advance the timing to this far as my car is now? G60 remember. does my computer take over after certain timing? please guys, I need to know.

looks like Im buying the autodoodad kit and putting the internals into this remote, pointless because I wanted to use this remote.
-
HAS ANYONE GOTTEN CLIFFORD INSTRUCTIONS YET?!?!?!?!?!
-
he is using the kit from TM tuning, then he took the chip from the inside of the fake VW key and put it in a real VW key.... its not the same.... =-( I want clifford instructions!!!!!!
-
so I recently got one of these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VW-CORRA ... enameZWDVW and they actually come with an original VW remote, and it works! so what I am wondering is how do I get the RF read on these units and is there any way that I can get an alarm system from a newer VW and set it toy this frequency... or some aftermarket one that I can do... I want to use the remote that I got on this key...

k so all I want from that car would be the suspension/axles, tranny, and those RS301's....... yeah....... thats looking nice man. its a race, its a race.

very well actually, this weekend is oil cooler conversion weekend and intercooler conversion. next weekend is possibly exhaust, I still have to get 2 pieces cut from Aluminum, I cant get those till I can find a tutorial CD or some tutorials for GibbsCAM, the guy cutting stuff wants them so I dont want to go back with nothing for him. school kind of took over there for a while, as did waiting for that stupid support bracket. oh I also have to design another bracket to hold the top of the charger to the alternator bolt or the alternator bracket bolt that is parrallel to the engine. or for both, I dont want it to move, and I dont want screws to bind. I will be driving the car with the charger on it soon, just so I can see if the weight is supportable with the brackets. I have like 2000 GBP worth of car parts in my room right now for this conversion, its kinda ridiculous. how is your conversion going?

so my speedo has this nice jiggle as it goes up now, all the time. I also get a little grind/vibration sometimes when turning left up a hill. anyone? the fluctuations can be as much as 10 mph in either direction. twirly plastic thing go boom? plastic in the diff box? just want an opinion before I go and remove the terribly positioned thing.

yeah I dont fix sunroofs if they are broken, I just buy different ones hahaha!, buy a oassat moonroof from a scrappy !
-
well I just finished installing a passat moonroof today, my moonroof goes back and tilts and all, just very slowly which makes me think that my motor is going out. (I thought it was going out before but now I know I think, anyway I have 2 passat motors to try out. as far as passat parts in a corrado sunroof, yes you can use the parts from the slider assembly off any VW A2/A3 chassis with a sunroof, not a moonroof. glass is interchangable between moonroof assemblies but I dont believe the slider mech for a moonroof is the same as a sunroof. there are a few parts that a Steel sliding sunroof has that a moonroof doesnt: 2 fasteners, 357877269 357877270 2 springs, 357877295 357877296 2 clips, 357877658 and the moonroof has 2 carriers that a steel roof doesnt. 357877317 357877318 oh and I just looked further into it and they are no where near the same as far as locks and guides go. no piece is the same there at all
-
now why would you want to do that.... tsk tsk tsk. actually Im kinda wondering myself, but I dont think they ever made a passat in tornado red....
-
coxylaaaad Im not a boffin head actually, I just now found out what that meant, I actually joke with my teachers & piss them off sometimes... =-/ quite the opposite of a boffin head actually... I just pay attention during class
-
we have propane and gasoline, no LPG here in cali. the reason they dont use these systems in refineries is because everthing would need to be made from aluminum (which cant stand heat), or cast Iron (harder to produce by itself than to make an alloy with. cost over benefit there is non existant.
-
anyone know what the cylinder sleeves are made of in a G60? steel or cast iron? hydrogen embrittlement could be a problem if they are steel.
-
yeah automatic closure and open. no holding buttons down anymore. got a link?
-
boffin head? like a know it all? I take a lot of school so I kinda know a lot, kinda let it get to me sometimes too... (ego boost and all explaining something others cant understand at all...) yeah I know its bad

thanks dazzy

oh and by the way coxy, the guy that made his setup with the .5A and very high voltage transformer did defy laws of physics, no one credited him though because he doesnt have a degree of any sort, he dropped out of high school. but he does have the international patent on the 1700fficient electrolyzer, where does the energy come from you ask? its called group velocity thoery and its used to explain faster that light travel, I just completed this project in my quantum physics class, last semester. basically he found the natural frequency of hydrogen and used a small current and high voltage and high frequency to amplify the amplitude of the atom's vibratory wave pattern so much that it broke the bond between the hydrogen and oxygen without much effort at all. modern physics explains a lot of things that classical physics can not. =-)
-
and the container its being created in....... (aluminum welded casing) and the stainless steel braided line that its being transffered in...... its not leaking anywhere anytime soon, coxy that was kind of mean dont you think? we have abandoned the word fag in the US.... unless it means something else over there...or if you want to be incredibly unpolite it means the same thing here.
-
the one I went to was a scientific report... it says 20fficiency, it makes sense if you think about it, you are buning the hydrogen in gasoline, so if you replace the gasoline with H2 gas, you are burning the H2 gas so you engine will put less gas in. oh btw, I am one of those americans who can get the thing machined for me for free so it will only cost me the cost of metal and wiring and time of course.
-
right but Im using the button assembly from the passat because it has automatic feature. =-)
-
cheers, sounds good. they got 5% efficiency on a big diesel as an average. which means about 12% on my 4 banger
-
when you burn hydrogen it creates water vapor as a byproduct.... pretty snazzy huh?! In combustion, the hydrogen is "burned" in engines in fundamentally the same method as traditional gasoline cars. In fuel-cell conversion, the hydrogen is turned into electricity through fuel cells which then powers electric motors. With either method, the major byproduct from the spent hydrogen is water.
