  1. alright ben looks like I'll be catching up to you soon with my AMG SC... so few of the corrados here have over 300 hp, so sad =-(.... its ok we blow our own transmissions up! =-) ahahahaha hey um Im gonna have an ECU that handles 21 psi only... thats 5.5 psi extra that I will have... any tips? anyone got a 300 kpa map sensor ECU made up? still you got me beat with looks and the 4x4, my car is mostly for the track...
  2. well Im gonna be the first one to say it, the scirocco mk III is gonna be the corrado equivalent, granted VW will put as much effort into making it heavy as they do with the R32 and its haldex system.... should've used the plastic panels that they used on the toureg, HAHAHAHHAHA!
  3. small SS plate attaches to supercharger on pulley side and mounts to the bolt for the tensioner and alternator (plate goes over pulley on alternator (barely)). there is also a piece missing from that bracket that holds the backside of the charger on.
  4. ok so I decided to cut everything else up and make pretty pictures for you people. bracket and charger, been like that for a while just never took a picture.
  5. thank you very much for those pics, anyone thrown one of the G60 rods recently? and is my mechanic right when he talks about compression from new bolts?
  6. any other differences? thicker at all?
  7. I know this may seem childish to ask as I have been working on my C for years and have always heard that G60 connecting rods are heavier duty than a standard 8V connecting rods. so Im wondering if people have pictures of the difference, also has anyone thrown a rod on a G60 recently or at all? I dont see too many people with thrown rods. and one last thing, my machineist told me if I was going to be replacing the rod bearings I would have to have my rods shaved and honed because the compression difference from the ARP rod bolts would squish the bearings differently and would cause uneven wear. hes my friend so I dont think he would tell me that for nothing, besides he would be doing the work for free in the end, I just dont want to rip the head off anymore, I finally get a good headgasket to seal properly! any help would be cool, and please let me know if I can replace my rod bearings with new ones and ARP's cause I have this knock thats either the cam or the rod bearings, (its very repeditive which makes me think cam). so um yeah, childish, oh yeah and for those wondering the AMG charger is still in the shop being welded, we had to rip it apart and clean it because there was epoxy on the alumium and was contaminating the weld. will be staying calm at 17psi for a while though... need to take baby steps with boost.
  8. hmmmm ok so I can use the cheap clutch! woo hoo! 16VG60 is 220 @ wheels I believe, about 270 with 13 psi. me = 8V >=-)
  9. um we are talking a little more than a 16Vg60..... 320ish at the crank..... 26 psi.... BBM ran 240 @ wheels with 24 psi yeah.... that was about 300 @ crank
  10. ok so supercharger is almost on, need to buy an uprated clutch... dont know which one to get, and if I get an uprated pressure plate do I need to change the disk? the stock disk has more surface area so it makes more sense.... anyone? I was looking at eurospec ones...
  11. but there is a benefit right? like no property tax? or something else? we may only have 8% sales tax where I am but we have soooo many other taxes..
  12. nice picture...... hahahahahaha, nothing actually I was going to move to england because I am tired of this country, people then told me that I would get very tired of the taxes there.... so I stayed
  13. see at least there are 2 people in england with an open mind.
  14. still need a bigger engine with a dizzy. got magnetos up the butt right now, will have a bigger engine soon, datsun engine.
  15. hahahaha no originally my point of being an engineer was to develop a superconductor that can operate at room temperature. its going to have to be an oxide though =-(. anyway thing is EMF is starting to interest me that and using it to drive airplanes or space shuttles with controlled bursts.
  16. hence why I asked SNS to make me a chip that will allow me to.
  17. -.- joe cell is stainless steel..... bolted to a car.... larger EMF field is made... oh nevermind, when i get it floating I will let you guys know. Dinkus = H8R
  18. electromagnetic field, there is a perimeter with wire around it.
  19. thats a very nice tesla coil!!!!!! a buddy of mine built one for his project in physiics, it was 6 feet tall and shot arcs out 6 feet, was grounded to a telephone pole to work! HAHAHAHA but really thats a very amazing example!
  20. that would be stainless steel plated pyramid dealy in an EMF field, however you will notice that it shorts out every once in a while, probably voltage spiked too much or too many capacitors open at once. emf field = raises metal. BTW they made that field by using a tesla generator. (can be run off of your regular outlet)
  21. bingo, hes got his hand on a variac if you didnt notice. thats the long way of doing things, we are "supposedly" doing it the short way. cheers
  22. ..... riiiight..... um here is the implosion thing, hydrogen will not ignite with an AC source, only DC source. most people have worked out that you are making a positive spark, not negative like regular sparks. goes from - to +, with using a - earth. thats my friend, we got it to do about 1" after charging it the 2nd time, didnt record that, wish we did though. (+ spark condeses negative charged air, pulls piston up)
  23. goobely gop = santa rosa, ca coxy, we got a brand new engine to shudder run, it never had gas in it ever. shortly thereafter, 3 mins, we broke the flywheel, it was advanced 45 degrees. actually I wanted to make an 11 ring thing but I would have to roll my own tubes. dinkus, not absurd cause its actually happening, I have a lot of time right now. chris hill, I eat kids like mad dog for lunch ;-) if I can get the ECU from dubcharged I could do it on my corrado, providing the ECU can perhaps advance the timing when I give it a signal.... =-) oh and on the ECU can you set the O2 sensor to read a set value? I dunno whats fully editable in the ECU.
