hi the cable comes complete with the metal clip that attaches to the handle,the cable comprises of a black outer cable, and a metal thin wire inside it. the bonnet cable truppet screw retainer should still be available from vw. unfortunatley i dont have any of these just the cable /inner cable and clip. cheers alex

hi guys and girls im in need of a new passenger door for my storm, i would love to replace it with another mystic blue door, if i could get hold of one, free of rust and damage, also a mystic blue tailgate in good nick. i know im asking for something very rare, but hey i could get fortunate, any help most appreciated!! best regards alex

yes the crank sensor is a one to replace as 1st point of call, but i would also take inspect the wiring harness that channels down past the battery to the back of the bulk head there is a sharp edge that chaffed my wiring , which was the throttle control wiring, it used to be intermitant and worse when it rained as it was shorting badly, suprised i didnt pop the ecu considering how many wires were shorting to each other and earth, just turn the loom over with an inspection lamp and make sure it free from damage.

disconnect the connector on the tank, does the light go out? if the coolant level is correct after replacment, it could well be a faulty expansion bottle.
