timing chain replacment, top tensioning pad worn through to rivets, lower guid cracked!! replaced new chains guide and rear main oil seal.

hi paul yes , im putting the original tensioner in as listed for the engine, i know the mk4 ones are prob better, but just wanna keep it all factory standard, plus if anything lets go timing chain wise, i have 2years parts and labour warranty, and if the mk4 tensioner was fitted, i wouldnt be able to make a claim becuase its not made for that engine. my chains have been replaced once before by the look of things, top tensioner was quite worn. but shes is almost on 200k.

long overdue, but ive done aload of work since the last update , i have now purchased all of the relevant parts for the engine, chains clutch ect. front bumper, wings and mirrors in for paint, whilst engine is out. block will get tarted up with some matt black block paint. all cooling system is being replaced, clutch chains and guides , sump, the works!, i will post pics through the course of dec.

im keen on the gas struts for the vr6, are these genuine struts and mounts? does this incl coil springs, standard or lowered ride height? cheers

ok mate , meet could be a good idea!! how much for the gbox and rad support?, how rusty is the rad support , is it bent or damaged as myn is in pretty bad condition, if alls the well consider them sold.regards alex

hi quick question is this a perfect fit? what about the two bolt holes at the end and raised section does this sit up aginst the gbox?

That looks like a great adventure especially in the c, i would love to do something like this in my storm, but for be to be confident in the car, alot more money would be needed in replacment parts to make her super reliable enough for that mileage/abuse!
