Thanks for the replies . I did see the tank straps on ebay , the stainless set . The Bias valve I had forgotten about , good shout on that one . I don't want to get it on the ramp and then think , ah I didn't purchase this or that part . Thanks again . Rob

Can i ask you chaps that have done this or have knowledge of this job to have a look through and see if i have missed anything please . Refurbed parts is as follows , Rear of the car . Rear beam , blasted and powder coated . new bushes . Painted stub axles [or ive seen new ones online ]. Ive had the flanges made too . New pads , bearings , disc covers . The dics themselves are fine . Calipers are MK4 conversion . I will be painting the tank straps and cleaning the brake lines and fuel lines . I have already sorted the waxoil for the body. The suspension is fine ,if a little harsh , even on soft setting . The fuel filter housing will be replaced with the plastic part . Front end . New wishbones Ball joints Wishbone lock plates Trackrod ends Boots Bearings Hubs New disc covers . Suspension [hub] mounts have been stripped and painted . The subframe is in really great condition and just needs a good clean [Mountings ?] Radiator support has been stripped and painted . [rubber mountings ??] The front discs are fine . New pads . New drive shafts I just need the engine and gearbox mounts [ive already put the question up in another thread ] . I have a huge list of receipts for the car from previous owners but i dont think much of the underside has been done . Obviously apart from these parts are in need of replacement , my intention is to cure the rattles in the interior of the car . But there is no point trying to cure this until ive done the above . At present if you hit a small pot hole or drive on a ruff road it bangs and crashes through the car and sounds awful.So hopefully after completing this task i will have a smoother ride . As i have said above about the shocks , she is sat on Konis at the moment , these are on the softest setting , but still seems harsh . Ive no idea Jim . Ive been looking at Euro parts , Heritage . Having not removed my engine or gearbox im not sure which ones i need . I presume its a front and rear mount and a gearbox mount, also the rubber subframe mounts .

As above , where have people bought from ? Which make ? .Im not sure if you can still get oem or not . As im replacing everything i will need a set of these . Thanks chaps . Rob

That's interesting to know about the rear arch lips David . The painter who worked on my car ,thought they had been cut to accommodate larger wheels at some point , which worried me .

This is my girlfriends son ,sat in the limited edition koenigsegg. This car is number one of only six made . It belongs to a friend of his dads . He has been promised a ride out in it soon , as the owner was out of the country at the time . His wife opened the car for him so he could sit in it . True story time . The owner of this car was labouring on a building site eight years ago . He happened to be in the right place at the right time and was able to pull a few strings for someone . He then thought why dont i set up a company doing the same thing . Eight years later he also owns a Ferrari too . Just shows what can happen in life !.

That's what I've tried Carrots . Gone to wallet , typed in the new card , deleted the old one . Erased the bank account . Still it will not except the card . I will wait till the new amounts go in and try again .

Tried again , I'm now waiting for them to send another two small deposits in my bank , to confirm it . I reckon it would have been quicker to walk to Fuzzers house and hand him the cash ! . Hope there's no interest charge on the parts lol .

Yes it does raise itself . Mine raises at 50 mph , others will raise at 45 mph . You can change the settings . If yours is not raising , which I guess is the reason for your post , I would check the fuse . If this is fine , then you will have to give the motor contacts and the movements a good clean . Failing that if it does not work a new motor might be required .

There was a set for sale on here a couple of years back , still in a roll , in it's rapping . I saw it as the ad was just placed , I thought about it for 5 minuets , decided I would have them and they were gone !

The part that has Corrado printed on it ? Or later cars was just a plain strip ? . If so I think it's a deleted part . Last time I looked on ebay , there were only after market rubbish sets . Not sure if you could get a second hand set off a car without ruining it .

Some of them look like a twist if you know what I mean ? And others are straight stalk .

Thank you for the advice chaps . I will give it another go using the above info . Failing that I will ask them to ring me back and sort it . At two quid a minute plus phone providers cost , I don't want to be on my phone for 25 mins or more !

Evening . Im at a loss with what to do about my paypal account . My old card ran out and the Nationwide sent me a new one . I forgot to ad my new card to my paypal account . It was only when i tried to pay a member on here for some parts ,that i realised the problem . I have tried to register or add card as they call it , but it says , we cant add this card . I tried using the automated system and had the same problem . I have looked online but the only question close to mine is saying the bank wont let the card be added . Does anyone have any answers or had the same problem and solved it ? I dont want to ring them again , ive tried three times and it costs a bomb as they are always busy and your kept waiting for ages . Any info would be great Kind regards Rob
