Hi all , for a while i have been thinking of getting some novelty items made .When you look at stuff on ebay you get aircooled stuff coming out of your ears ,but not alot of watercooled stuff .Its the same at the few shows ive been to. I wanted to get some corrado , golf ,etc items made ,but was worried about getting a law suit ! . I have an idea in my head and obviously it would involve using the badge and the car . Its only at the drawing stage atm , working on ideas .Anyone know where i stand on this ? , do all the people on fleabay and the like have to get permission ? Kind regards Rob .

Coming on well mate , mine has a fuel saver , its like a metal tube about 6'' long , it fits on the two fuel pipes as they run along side the head , instead of them running straight into the fuel rail .Its had its day and i think my problemi have accasionally, is caused by this Rob

Thats a bummer mate , but im sure you will sort it . I take it a leaky door must have caused this , either that or a hole in the underside ?. I have a doorcard to repair ,as the storm it came out of was hit in the side and cracked it ,not sure how to repair it yet though .Will be interested to see the damage on your cards . Regards Rob

Just looked at vdubmachine ,looks like he has run out , be hard to find one mat i think , especially drivers side .

Doh aint the word matt .

I was washing the car and as always i had the wipers up , was thinking about doing the top of the wings in the engine bay after , before my stupid brain had engaged i had lifted the bonnet without putting the wipers down . Obviously they connected with the bonnet and slid down it back to their position on the screen . I am now left with bare metal on the edge of the bonnet . I cannot believe i have done this !!!!, whats more is i cannot find my touch up paint ,i was given after the re-paint . Yours rather dumdly Rob

Glad you are getting it sorted and the bay looks great mate . I did the same checks as you at the weekend , also cleaned isv . Took her out for an hours run and all seems good .The other trouble i had was sometimes on a warm start it would be slow to pick up the revs when ticking over . Also got to get rid of that old fuel saver . Rob

Well i have cleaned everything , went out for a drive with robster r32 , went to get some fuel and it stalled 4 times ,revs all over the place . Then it settled down .roughly an hours drive and it was as sweet as a nut . Not sure whats going on ?. One thing that is suspect though is the fuel saver thats fitted , rob looked it up and its sposed to good for a few thousand mile , well its been on there for alot longer . Maybe its clogged ? Going to get some fuel pipe and get rid of it . The other thing she has started doing is not starting first time , the car has always started first turn of the key , now only fires second time round . Just wondering if its fuel starvation as the old fuel saver is clogged up . Regards ,Rob
