Great idea Stu . One of a list of things I need to do . I have replaced the scrapers for new ones , replaced the rollers but it rattles all the same . I did try putting butyl tape on the mechanism but it didn’t work . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would have thought so Jim , it came off a members car on here . Engine side is front , air side is to the Maf , correct?. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think I will do some trial runs today . I will have my son with me and use the stopwatch , hold it at 4K and floor it , standing start etc . Then swap back to the KnN . I just need a safe place to do it really . It might just be me Kevin. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No worries. It’s one of those jobs that’s so fiddly and hard to explain without being there [emoji4]. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m sure I took them off yes , then carefully fit them back . Then attach the rod to the plastic connector. Awful design really . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Patience, patience and more patience. That’s all I can offer . It’s one of those jobs that your mate comes over and sorts it first time, when you’ve been struggling for an hour [emoji38]. They are fiddly , you’ve just got to keep at it [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It could be Hasan , you could be right mate . It’s self explanatory really when you see the holes in the cards I suppose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

If I remember rightly, there is a screw at the top that goes through the seat belt plastic trim and another at the bottom by the sill strip . The rest is held on with the clips . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

They are a bit fiddly. I put the top one in first nearest the head rest , then the one by the runner . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Looking fantastic.

Yes , they look great , I will have to put up with my cassette holder for a while [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I will see if I can return this set before looking for another . Thanks for replying [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok Martin , thank you for your help and info . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So there is no solution to it then Martin?. I also took the trim off of my cassette holder to see if I could do anything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is the one I have just bought . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Found them on eBay . Edit . No I haven’t .

I’ve just bought a set of these and when I went to fit them they are for a left hand drive consol . I’m sure I’ve read somewhere about someone buying a new trim for them . Anybody know about this or point me in the right direction please Kind regards Rob

Great work , I can’t see the pics though , I will take a look at the forum without using Tapatalk and see if they come up . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No Martin , stupidly I didn’t take any when it was on the ramp . I did measure the bones when I got home and they are different, but it’s not easy with a trolly jack to get right under the car properly. What I don’t understand is , I’ve spoken to heritage, gone through two years of Ebay and amazon and there is no sign of a purchase [emoji848], I’ve got receipts for everything but them . Anyway I’ve spoken to my friendly mechanic and he’s going to order them and fit them , I’m not doing it on the driveway again . It’s annoying as I always check that I get VR parts before paying . The only thing I can think of is that I ordered them and paid by card online , my online banking only goes back to jan 2017 , so I must have bought them in 2016 . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just looking at your pic Martin , the roll bar hugs the wishbones , mine does not .

Another few things worth checking indeed. I could have the same problems . Thank you for your input [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don’t know where to start Sean . My mate has just dropped by and we had a look . The part of the wishbone where the drop link attachment is looks so different to the other side [emoji848]. The wishbone on the passenger side is smaller . As far as I can see , it needs to go on a ramp , then wipe the dust off the wishbones , and compare the part numbers, to each other then to what I should have , I have no idea atm as to which side is right [emoji38]. All I know is something ain’t right . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sorry thank you Martin [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks Dox [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I threw them away Dox and I can’t find the receipt [emoji35], I’m positive they came from heritage, as did all the new bolts and mounts .Now I’m going to have to take it to my friendly mechanic as I just don’t have the time to do it myself. I will ring heritage tomorrow and get them to go through my purchases from last year . At the end of of the day it’s costing me to put it right [emoji17] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
