Camskill have the Potenza's at £65/corner.. seems pretty reasonable. If I was due for new tyres, I'd give them a whirl. http://www.camskill.co.uk/m53b0s93p110265/Bridgestone_Tyres_Car_Bridgestone_RE002_Potenza_Adrenalin_Bridgestone_RE_002_-_205_50_R15_86W_(FZ)_TL_Fuel_Eff_%3A_F_Wet_Grip%3A_C_NoiseClass%3A_2_Noise%3A_71dB

I'm a huge fan of Uniroyal Rainsports. Great all round performers, and excellent in wet weather conditions as you'd expect from the name. Not an expensive tyre either - probably sits about halfway between the cheapest and most expensive tyres.

Made a point of chatting to Edd China today too - again very approachable nice guy :) Of course, asked the Corrado question. Again he seemed pretty enthusiastic and he hoped within the next couple of years. Says he'd love to do a VR6 or a G60, specifically liked the thought of a doing up a Nugget Yellow G60 - we'll wait and see what happens I guess :)
-
Indeed. I had a G60 pushing over 200BHP for a while and it was great fun :) Would be nice to see the G60 get a bit more recognition.

There appears to have been some communications failure there Ian :( Looks like we will see you tomorrow.

Was at the NEC this evening prepping the CCGB stand for the Restoration Show this weekend when I noticed right opposite our stand a lovely black Mustang so went to admire it. Soon realised the guy prepping it was none other than Mike Brewer. Had a bit of a chat - what a thoroughly nice guy and was happy to talk to me and a few other Corrado guys despite trying to crack on with detailing his lovely Mustang. Told us they had bought a Corrado G60 a few years back with a blown charger that was going to be in the show but unbeknownst to him the production team sold it on again. He assures me a Corrado IS on the list and it definitely will happen some day. Really nice guy and was good to chat to him. I told him we will all be looking forward to seeing a Corrado on Wheeler Dealers!

Yeah - the best thing is to definitely stick the video onto YouTube. We don't offer a video upload functionality because there's just no point in reinventing the wheel when YouTube do it so well :) Look forward to seeing it if you get it uploaded!

It's a strange thing. You can surf Classic Parts and find some stuff that's surprisingly cheap (BBS Solitudes, brand new are like 70 quid a corner) and some things that almost give you a heart attack because they're so expensive :)

Looking forward to this one very much! -
That's Dude VR6. :)
-
Uniroyal Rainsport 2 or 3's. Great tyres.
-
Try harder ;) Go into the Corrado section, Karosserie, Außen, then third page along :)
-
All the best! Cheap fuel out there so time to buy a V8! :)
-
Welcome to the forum! Always good to get more international Corrado owners on here! :)
-
Maybe one day you'll understand ;)

Looks like your usual high standard of work there Dave - very nice indeed. Engine sounds like it's running beautifully too :)

I'll have to keep my VR on a 'normal' policy as it's my only car and I don't want to lose my NCB.. hopefully they can come up with something.
-
Unbelievable. Keep us posted with how you get on. Was the car damaged in any way aside from the handbrake being cut?
-
Sue the crap out of them. Unbelievable!!
-
My renewal is due very shortly - might be time to give them a call. Cheers.

Thanks for your kind words, and thanks for your input into the meeting yesterday. Thought all the members who contributed raised good points or made good observations so it's really appreciated. Sorry I didn't get a chance to chat to you yesterday. Just the way it seems to go sometimes, but will hopefully catch up at some shows in the year. Also wanted to say I thought your kids were impeccably behaved - I know it can be a tough one for kids to sit through hours of us guys rambling on, so thought they were a credit to you that they kept themselves occupied & quiet throughout. Hope they enjoyed the museum (assuming you got to take them round?) :)

NEC Restoration Show 12 and 13 April

I should imagine if you did that, you might get your own 'live presentation' of a restraining order :) -
They really seem to be getting very thin on the ground these days. A good, unmolested / original G60 is an extremely rare beast now :(
-
In fact looking at that page a lot of stuff broke the estimate comfortably so if anything they're a little conservative.
-
Nice find. Does look extremely clean and straight! Am rather more enamoured with lot #34 - 1993 BMW E34 M5 TOURING Drool.
