  1. Might be worth getting in touch with JMR / John Mitchell and seeing if they have any rebuilt ones on the shelf. No idea if they keep any spares for customers who have blown a charger. VW Classic Parts used to stock them but they seem to be all gone now :(
  2. Finally! We've been talking about these guys on here for years, but not sure anyone ever actually took the plunge to try them until now. Would love to know what price they quoted you, and to find out how you get on! Cheers.
  3. Just think I need to think out a sale process a bit better. Or honestly not sell through the forum. Anyway.. thanks but locking this one.
  4. It shouldn't need changing that often so I wouldn't worry. When was your charger last serviced, marks2?
  5. Having given it a bit of thought, going to hang on to the car a little longer. Think I'd quite like to get the engine run-in period completed, rather than selling it mid-way through. Thanks for the interest however. It's helped give me an idea of valuation for a future sale.
  6. I have someone interested currently and trying to confirm with them to pay a deposit to secure it as I am getting a bit of interest. I might mark is as on hold for the time being.
  7. You did contact me first so happy to hang on until you are able to get to view! There is no rush for me to sell.

  9. Exactly. Who drops 10k on a 'whim' - and then changes their mind.
  10. Willing to bet he didn't pay what he's asking for it. So, basically a trader.

    What springs?

I've got some used KW lowering springs which came off my VR available. Not sure what I'd want for them (£30?), but if you were interested we could sort something out? Where are you based? They lowered the car approx. 40mm.
  12. It needs paintwork anyway.. just respray it a different colour ;)
  13. I was parked in the first row of cars, facing the road.
  14. You have to remember I've owned Corrado's since 2001 and have pretty much had a Corrado continuously since then, with the occasional gap in between. 2x 2.0 16v's, a G60 and a VR6. I feel like I've been and done it. I'll always love the Corrado and will still be an enthusiast for them... but they've just gone too far across into 'classic' territory in terms of needing TLC and ongoing maintenance, and it's just not what I want any more. Every time I tackle a job on my car I'm bricking it, and am so relieved when I'm done and it works - I don't enjoy that. I just want an occasional fun car to smoke around in :) Believe me I've spent a lot of time thinking about this - this isn't a rash decision.
  15. Appreciate that mate - very kind of you to say so!
  16. I think Classic Green is the darkest :) There's a few pictures here - I need to get more, including front end, interior, etc:
  17. Ah fair enough mate. Well, have a chap interested already. Sorting pics this weekend ahead of a possible viewing in a few weeks. I'm losing a fortune at my asking price of £2,500 but I'm trying to be realistic about the value I think.
  18. Welcome to the forum! Love to see some pics of your progress so far :)
  19. Concrete. As in firm offers of people wanting to put their cars on the stand.
  20. Hi John - I think we may be looking for some concrete offers of cars! I'll fire an email to the CCGB event organiser and see where we are in terms of filling the stand. Cheers!
