    Came back from the shop tonight to see oil marks down the passenger side of the car.I opened the bonnet but couldn't see anything different to normal which makes me think outer cv boot.any other suggestions.I am fitting rack boots Sat so better get a cv boot just incase

    I am planning on changing the metal pipes that sit on top of the steering rack due to them being rotten.do I need any copper washers or anything else.cheers

    I used to put unipart 10/40 oil in it was made by fuchs'and I flush it

    Top mounts done about 300 mile max

    Yer checked level and its fine and sounds ok.I've got a landrover discovery the pump went on that ,didn't make a noise or leak just stopped working.think it could be me comparing it to new vans with electric racks

    Not sure if my power steering pump works as it should as the steering is heavy.maybe it's because I've got 205 tyres and drive a new van .is there anyway of testing it
