ive bought a 50mm polished inlet manifold for my 1.8 16v kr .its fitted with a 42mm at the mo.any advice on changing it over.will i need to get it tunned .thanks

i am looking for a new throttle cable for a 1990 kr engine ive looked on ebay but cant find any,i thought a mk2 golf 1.8kr would of been the same but ive been told its not

hi ive got a new mk2 1.3 golf throttle cable i was going to use for a 20v conversion.will it fit a 1990 1.8kr engine.or can you still buy a new cable for the corrado

took my car for an mot and its failed on the rear tyre rubbing on the jom coilover.its only doing it on one side tho.i am going to fit some 3mm spacers and just hope it dont rub on the arch

well ive bought another corrado.ive sort of been talked out of taking the engine out of the white one to fit a 20vt incase it all goes wrong,but ive spent that much on parts to convert it to 20vt i wouldnt get it back if if i tried to sell the parts on.so ive bought another h plate 1.8 16v off a mate thats owned it for about 10 years. its red-pink and been off road for about 2 years,i must say tho its quicker than my white un maybe due to the ported head and inlet and seems to drive nicer.the plan is sell the engine and box and fit the 20v,then if it all goes well get it sprayed

i might be wrong but i am sure ive read you should turn the bracket around that the cable clips into

strange i thought the later bonnets were the way to go with a 20v .ive not long bought one and had it painted ready for my 20v conversion

i still think its a relay ,my 16v used to do it untill i took them out and sprayed contact cleaner in the fuse board
