  1. mine breaks at least once a month.heater matrix and rear caliper on the same day,head last month
  2. hi i am looking for a drivers side rear caliper for a 1990 16v.must be a good un.mite be looking for a petrol bomb soon aswell for a 1990 corrado
  3. ive just fitted a repacement head due to mine being cracked,drove it down the road and the oil preasure switch went causeing the buzzer to sound.fixed the switch and drove it to work to wash it and the rear caliper is stuck on.drove it from there and there steam coming out the vents so heater matrix has gone.i cant even drive the piece of s-it a week before i have to fix it.

  5. get some carb cleaner and clean throtle body etc.unipart sell it
  6. none of them on pic.its a stiff pipe thats near the coil.cant take any pics as car in garage
  7. its going the opp side of air intake.it stops near ecu area
  8. just done the head on my 1.8 16v .its all gone together fine and runs fine.only prop is ive got a clear pipe vac tube that i cant find where it goes.it runs from air box side along bulkhead and stops in middle of bulkhead .at first i thought it mite be off ecu but its not.it is sucking air if you put your finger over it so must go somewhere.please help

  10. i would put a jack under engine as 1 bolt holds engine mount and can be a bit of a bugger to get back in if engine drops a bit
  11. mine owes me more than i paid for it,i spend at least £100 a month on parts and it dont seem to end
  12. how do i check for play in column,rack past mot no prob and tie rods are new.drives fine at low speed and when steering is not on near full lock
  13. i wouldnt say its the rear on mine,but the steering wheel going from left to right on round abouts is deff not right on mine

  15. i can see what you mean,what about them poly type on ebay.some solid rubber type on ebay aswell
  16. checked the r32 unipart bushes same as tt and corrado not solid.fitted rear bearings when i got car,could do with adjusting tho i bet by now.racks been checked for play and is fine
  17. no its done it since ive had it about 18months,at 1st i put it down to its age and me driving newer cars.but after an mot a few bushes were on the way out so i thought change um and it mite be beter.its the same tho.the bushes unipart sell for the tt are the same as corrado ive had them out the box to look
  18. its been on a ramp to check for play and all seems fine,my mate reckons its because its low which is making the wishbones sit at an angle they shouldnt be at.tt bushes looked the same as corrado,unless i would need the later tt uns
  19. hi ive had this prob,ive ran mine on 15w 40w oil with a bottle of stp oil treatment.that cured it.the last oil change i did was with 10w 40w and the stp that seamed ok aswell but the head gasket went so i couldnt realy try it
  20. i work for unipart and its very rare we get faulty arms,i had thought of changing the rear bushes tho.someone said audi tt uns .ive looked at them and they look the same as corrado uns tho
  21. it does feel like it wants to go to the left when your driving in a straight line.these wishbone have done 2000 mile max tho
  22. the bushes and ball joints came with the arms which are unipart,the rear axle bushes had slight play at last mot
  23. check the caliper is sliding ok and give it a good clean
  24. all mounts are new and new ball joints,it sounds like a ball joint sound.had tracking done tyres dont look flat and it handles fine at low speed
