i used surf in the end the liquid type,took the expansion tank off and used degreaser in it as its only a couple of months old.its also stopped my coolant light flashing all the time :clap:

2 bolts on slam panel and 4 self tapping bolts on the sides that hold plastic panels on.i took horns off and maybe headlights.oil in water could be oil cooler i done mine last sat because i had oil in my water

mines a bit knackerd its always on 5

my tappets used to tick untill warm,i put stp oil treatment in and its made um sound much beter

can anyone tell me the correct size of the nut that holds the cooler on a 1990 kr engine,do i need a deep socket also.could it be done with a adjustable spanner.want to do job in morn.cheers

i think i will use the right kind of flush even tho a few people said to use it,also fairy liquid :shrug:

i am going to change my oil cooler on sat because ive got oil in expansion tank,ive been told to flush the system with washing powder daz ,persil etc.has anyone tried it.also if i add comfort will it run smother lol

i think all the hoses should be fine,i changed un to samco about 7 months ago.

i am hopeing its just the oil cooler,its been running so well aswell

priced a recon vege head just to see what it would cost £1450 ish sod that,got a new oil cooler today so going to try that 1st,they dont look to hard to fit.just hope its not the head or thats my respray money gone :(

yer it runs fine,its just the oil in expansion tank,and loads of it.its been skimmed b4 can you do um again
