i was doing the strut tops on my car the other week and i borrowed a cp battery impact wrench,wow what a great tool but very expensive.has anyone bought the cheaper uns off ebay.i wouldnt mind 1

ive still got a bit of a clonk from os front ,ive changed strut tops,tie rods and track rod ends,outer cv joints,wishbones,drop links :shrug: dont no what else it could be,maybe its me being to fussy and i should live with it

i had some ,i had to bend the arm.then they are still not great so i bought some lupo arms and new blades and its great now

try unipart mate the batterys are made by yuasa ,they will be much cheaper than halfords

was the renault 5 red,i seem to remember something

ive checked today and the inner cv joint on a golf mk2 drive shaft is differant to a corrado :( .so i am going to try and file the splines on my old shaft

the outer cv joint looks fine except for the bits of metal in it,its the splines on the drive shaft that are knackerd.the cv joint wont go back on to the shaft

check that plastic cover under the bonnet,the 1 that covers the heater vent.my carpet used to get wet and it was that.ive fitted a swg panel now

my joint is only about a month old,the clip on shaft has gone now tho and theres bits off metal inside the joint which should come out.splines in cv look fine

its the shaft on the hub side ive wreaked the splines.could do with finding out what the right size of allen key or spline bit i need so i can buy 1

shite hope they will fit,any idea what size allen key i need for gearbox side
