Ok i ended up buying the Bosch S5 silver battery. Was going to get the Varta as it seemed to be quite a bit cheaper (£58) but then saw ECP have a decent sale so managed to pick up the Bosch S5 silver for £73. A little bit more that the Varta but at least i got to sort it today instead of having to wait till next week. Very impressed (although probably would be with any battery as mine was on its last legs). Anyone know where you dispose of the old battery?

Fitted a new Bosche S5 battery so the car now starts on the button. Had laser wheel alignment done (maybe my imagination but steering feels a lot weightier now). Put the centre tunnel trim back on (bit that covers the hand brakes cables. Fitted new glass to wing mirrors (amazing how having mirrors that aren't discoloured). All in all a productive day and now my interior looks a bit more hospitable.

Ok not sure if I'm 'researching' this battery business too much but how do you tell which battery is more powerful/better? As in what numbers should I be looking at? To me they all seem the same except for the number of years guarentee they have.

Need a new battery as it needs a boost to start the VR if i leave it for a few days. I remember someone saying VARTA 77AH is the way to go. But all i can find is this one. Can someone confirm if this is as "good" or which VARTA (or any other brand) you'd recommend. http://www.battery2u.co.uk/productsearch.aspx Thanks

So true. When i got my corrado my main "issue" was that the sunroof didn't slide. Only when i got the car checked over by my local mechanic did i realise what real issues actually exist. Reading his post is a bit like dejavu, in that i've (well Graham at DG) had to all that work on my corrado. But the good thing is that when you do get things done you can appreciate the difference.

Hi, Do you have a leather handbrake handle? If so what condition is it? Also can you email me a close up of the passenger side fog please [email protected] Thanks -
Hi Does it have a leather handbrake handle? If so and in good condition how much posted? Thanks

On the weekend i replaced my drivers side fog light and indicator with virtually new ones. While im really happy they look clear, they make the head lights and passenger side fog/indicator look cloudy (not sure how else to describe it). So is there a way to bring back the passenger fog/indicator or do i just need to keep an eye out for a set on here? Also thinking of taking the headlights apart to give them a good clean. Any tips on what product to use on the glass? Thanks

Yes. Looking for some more power but maintaining quality. To be honest im not sure how good the iphone amp is. My sony player sounds noticeably better compared to the iphone (imo).

Thinking of buying a headphone amp and seen a few good reviews on the FiiO E11 amp. Just wondering if anyone has this one or if you have something else you'd recommend? I'll be using it with my iphone (on the tube) so just looking to improve the sound quality really.

Sunroof maintenance !

Nice guide. Is my understanding right that the front of the sunroof should be 1mm lower than the roof line and the rear 1mm above the roof line to minimise wind noise? I assume it will work for a moonroof? -
Snap. Thats exactly what mine does. Will have a look this weekend if i get a chance. Thanks.

If the slider was not connected then did your window still go up and down?
-
Got any pics of the rear slider you mentioned?

Now that is a brilliant idea. In the past ive always just cut the connectors off. And at £2.05 it's cheap as chips. Will definitely use something like this in the future.

Hi Also interested in the audioscape pods. Could i get some pics too please. Email is [email protected] Thanks -
I love my heated leather seats especially in this weather. But then i love riding to and from work on my bike (even in this weather). Tough choice. In fact does your company not offer the cycle to work scheme? I bought mine through it and apart from saving about 42% (tax and NI) they split the remainder over 12 months. So my £700 bike costs me about £30 a month for 12 months.

Buy a hot water bottle then you can get the latter 2 items ;-)

I replaced the aerial base in mine as well as the aerial but still ended up with crap signal. Then removed the booster in the back of my pioneer and boom. I have good signal.

I think you have to tick the box that says "keep a copy of this message" to store a copy of sent messages. Otherwise it doesn't save a copy.
-
The crap radio signal in my vr turned out to be the booster that plugs into the back of the stereo. Removed it and plugged the aerial straight in and now it works as good as modern cars.

Could you put up a pic of the tail gate please.
