Considering selling the rado. I'm really not using it enough...maybe once a week. Problem is that I would still need a car and possibly a smaller engined car to insure my girlfriend on it too. Seems like I am just spending money on something that I don't use enough...so basically not getting my money's worth. I can't see myself driving anything else though! mmmm....decisions.

haha. it's all still standard mate besides the exhaust. I'm in 2 minds whether to get something a bit newer soon anyway but if i decide to keep it I might be tempted by a little drop.

Got new HT leads, new coil pack and plugs. Didn't stop the smoking / misfiring...finally succumbed to it being the head gasket. The machine shop went awol for a bit but my mechanic has got the head back now and it looks like they've done a lovely job of skimming it. Wheels 1 and 3 dibbed so far but only if nobody collects the full set. I might have to leave this until I am back from my holiday but I will keep you posted.

If nobody grabs the full set soon...and nobody collects, dibs are as follows... Wheel 1: Neuon2003 Wheel 2: Wheel 3: GlosterOx Wheel 4: Full set and pick up trumps everything though! Sorry to be a pain. As I said I'm open to offers especially for full set and collection.

Just bought some new ones so the old ones have to go. My new ones have less tread then these which is annoying but I want them off my hands asap to get them out of my car! Some details: -in need of a refurb but have been scrubbed to show all details in photos -usual VR6 5x100 fitment -original paint I think so not bad condition considering -2 michelin tyres (a lot of tread on wheels 1 +3) and two starfire ones (loads of tread on wheels 2 + 4)...check pictures for tread -the wheels with michelin tyres have less tread but are in better condition -quite a bit of bubbling but nothing too bad. easily refurbbed or even just sanded and sprayed for a quick job -one wheel (wheel 2) has a slight curb which can be fixed I'd imagine...I never noticed it until I took them off to sell Best to let the pictures do the talking...if you go to my flickr account the wheels are labelled in the comments... Just wandering if anybody can help with a poorly VR? Last weekend when driving to pick up some wheels the car lost power and started kangarooing and trying to stall. Smoke was pouring out of the exhaust too. I got a tow home from the AA and my mechanic has been out since. I've only spoke to him over the phone about it so I need to find out more but basically he reckons I need new plugs (which are way overdue and I've ordered some new NGKs) and a coilpack. He said that compression is fine but when he removed plugs and turned it over he said that petrol was spraying out of the empty plug hole. Not sure if it is all plugs or just 1/2 but he reckons that because the coilpack has been playing up, plugs haven't been sparking and petrol has built up. I didn't notice it misfiring but it did have an issue of cutting out that would come and go but this seemed to have stopped lately. Has anyone had similar or got any ideas if anything else could be causing it. Maybe a dodgy injector, MAF sensor or anything else? No worries mate. I'm all for speedlines and I've had the 288 and mk IV brakes sitting there for about a year...need to stop being lazy and get them in.

car's looking good mate. seen nando yesterday cos mine is misbehaving a bit but he's on the case. proper chuffed you put me onto him. i've got some speed lines in need of a new home and a refurb. I can't get to them at the minute but by the weekend I'll get some pics up. In need of a refurb and one may be buckled but keep your eyes peeled for an ad next weekend if you are interested.
