As title these was going on my vr but after having a think im going to sell these to hopefully fund a 3.68 final drive These are harder to come by in these sizes Heres the specs 16" 8j all round They have been diamond cut but and look great from a step back but they do have light curbing on them and tjere are marks in the laquer that i can photo for anyone that is interested Two tyres are for the bin One is a very good dunlop tyre with lots of tread and i cant remember the other but i can find all this out there just in my dads shed at the moment The adaptors are all 15 mm and all have the shallow headed bolts you need to fit them Heres some pics of them on the car I can take as many additional photos as needed if anyone wants any more Thes would look great on the car and could easily be run through summer and then refurbed in winter , would even make a good easy to clean winter wheel Price is 370 bit im open to offers and i am a bit of a wheel whore so could be swayed to swap them even though i would like them sold to do the gear box Cheers Any questions my number is 07980690184 or pm me on here

I think ill give it a go i just thought id read that it was bad for some part of the exhaust something to do with one part being hotter than the rest but i suppose the manifolds get wrapped and thats usualy the only part of the exhaust tjat gets wrapped in it
-
Last time i de catted the vr the pipe tended to sound quite tinny wen you planted your foot down , it wasnt blowing or anything like that , i was wondering if this time around before i put the decat in i could heat wrap it to deaded some of the tinny noise , only thing is im sure somewer i read that its not good for either the rest of the system or the de cat pipe , i cant remember wich one or if im even right and i didnt just read something different about exhausts , it wont effect the suitcase bix because there isnt one , the system will consist if standard downpipes and straight theough to a magnex back box Cheers

Looking good mate take plenty of pics at the ring
-
Sounds like it has a few problems with wiring , although it does still look a clean car and has had alot of work done , maybe he couldnt solve the problem and threw in the towel , im sure some one will snap it up and make good of it , surely it wouldnt be to hard for some one in the know to swap it over to standalone management to solve the problems , if that what it had
-
I didnt think it was three grand buy it now that would be way to cheap , does look like a good example , its hard to gauge how much more cash to throw at a car when you can buy one thats all been done , i just wanted to know peoples opinions
-

Haha jim sorry man what oil did you use i used quite a think kinda oil/ grease Iv done a few bits since i last posted so here we go I pulled out on someone a bit and thought oops better put my foot down , booted the car and the rad popped lol , So a new rad was ordered via adrad a company up north , cheers lilfuzzer for pointing me in the right direction I thought it was going to be a no make rad but it came and was a hella one with the hella booklet This is the old and new one And the hella logo I did all the work my self so front end off and swapped them over and fitted the new one with all new vw g3 coolant Finished putting her back together and waited a couple of days and still had a bit of a leak so worked that out to tje top rad hose so i ordered a genuine one that was of ebay Fitted that and topped her up and she has been good since , shame it was a job i didnt really need on my plate lol ---------- Post added at 8:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 7:56 PM ---------- Carrying on and i finally got the weitecs fitted last weekend along with the brand new genuine front and rear top mounts , i got the fronts from vw and the rears from vw heritage Im really happy to have the old jom ones off they was a right state Heres a few pics of what was and now what is ---------- Post added at 8:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 8:03 PM ---------- Vw heritage sent two sets of rear mounts thats why theres so many , these need to go back to vw to recoupe some money lol ! They charged me for two sets I also noticed while i had the rad of that the battery fityed to my car is a diesel battery Its always given a strong start and never given any problems is there aby reason why someone would fit a diesel battery other than it being a big 2.9 ?? Thats it for work on the car lol Heres a few snaps from the north west day out we had a month a go or so Was a brilliant day and was good to meet every one there , all top blokes The above pic is me , hoffmeister and fragsxr jump starting fragsxr's car of in the snow , typical corrado moment ---------- Post added at 8:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 8:11 PM ---------- ---------- Post added at 8:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 8:14 PM ---------- Iv got a few more photos ant thats it till i find my motivation again and until i have fixed my dodgy lambda sensor One is the milage , nearly 10,000 moles of hassle free driving The new ride height Thats on a speed bump tho ! And a sneek peek at what wheels ill be running in summer when i find the time to refurb them and get tyres and rolled arches ---------- Post added at 8:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 8:28 PM ---------- Iv got a few more photos ant thats it till i find my motivation again and until i have fixed my dodgy lambda sensor One is the milage , nearly 10,000 moles of hassle free driving The new ride height Thats on a speed bump tho ! Cheers caps ill have the lambda off at weekend then and take a look and see if there is any wires that are knackerd and ill give the plugs a good clean aswell and if that fails ill get a new lambda As fir the maf hows best to test it , can i just get the car plugged in to obd on the diagnostics and pull the plug with the engine running or is it more technical than that , im dont think any of the two parts have been changed and the car has done 110,000 miles now Cheers for the part numbers aswell thats great stuff
-

Can someo e point me in the right direction of the oxygen sensor , iv had my vr up on a mates snap on ethos system and it threw up a fault code , 00525 oxygen sensor no signal intermitttent , is it worth just replacing the sensor and what kind of effects does this have on the car i havent noticed any problems apart from a bit a sluggishness when first fired up Cheers in advance
