Anyone still looking at this? The table is still quite tight!
-
Think he means with the forum name mate. Anyway welcome to the forum, even though some of us no longer have corrados we still come on here!
-
I have yet to see your car chris, I was starting to think you were just saying you had a corrado to fit in LOL!
-
Yeah he will be there. The s3 should be rocking some new shoes as well!
-
Its not just corrados either as long as it VAG then bring it down!
-
Not jealous at all..... you jammy git! Bet that was a blast, I agree that it should be a manual though for that open gate shifter alone!
-
He has had them on about a year now, for the money they are quite good TBH

Does sound like the breather as i notice that on mine from time to time, hence why i want a catch can or reroute it.
-
Quick sam what else looks fubard in that pic, you might be able to flog him a few other bits while your at it! LOL
-
Yep that is the breather.
-
Thanks for the feedback guys. Its what i thought TBH just wanted to check. Might invest in a catch tank or reroute it down underneath the engine. I just dont like the idea of the engine mulling over its own crap again.

Mine has been missing since i bought the car and i have just been using a straight to atmosphere filter in its place. My question is, Should i replace it with the standard one or does it not make alot of difference? Thanks

Donjon's classic green storm. Return from yorkshire...
Donjon replied to Donjon's topic in Members Gallery
Just got back from a few days in yorkshire. The main purpose being i had a driving experience package at croft circuit to do! The corrado performed brilliantly and without fault all the way, and was in its element on the twisty yorkshire roads! I drove on the driving day, a porsche cayman for 4 laps a ferrari 355 for 3laps and then a lamborghini gallardo lp560 for 3 laps! I really enjoyed it, the instructor asked the old "so what car do you drive " question that he asks everyone. When i told him a corrado VR6 his face lit up and he said that he used to race them and they were a great little car! He then told me to give the ferrari hell, which i then did! When i moved on to the lambo the guy was quite relaxed but then got quite nervous when i started upping the pace abit. When i had finished in the lambo he said "do you know how fast you were going down the straight on that last lap?" I said no, He replied with over 130mph! I learned later that he actualy owned that lambo and he was in the rock bad Sweet from the seventies! Anyway it was a good day! -
schumacher, heidfeld and liuzzi. Im suprised i got that many points TBH!

Went to Gti spring fest at santa pod on sunday and put in 7 runs, my best being a 15.7@92mph. Not too bad considering i had a tyre compressor in the boot and a strong headwind all day! It was good to see sam again and meet up with a few other people. -
My bro has them on his scirocco, they are quite firm but look to be decent quality and havent leaked yet.

Also had its mot and passed with only one advisory being some movement in the steering column. Anyway i am looking forawards to driving it some more and fixing some niggles that are still there. I will alo be going up to GTI spring fest where i will be aiming to get a decent time up the strip! Some pics from UD. -

Some nerdy running cost facts for a VR6
Donjon replied to Bog Standard VR6's topic in General Car Chat
To brim the tank from near empty it costs me about £85 at £1.30 a litre! Just keep it topped up to half way to avoid that kick in the nuts!
