  2. Mine is inside with the vr6 oc. Its not anyware near mint but i will polish it up the best i can!
  3. Damn it, i thought it may have been that but now i know, does anyone know if they are still available new?
  4. Now my corrado is on the road i am trying to sort some of the niggles that are still there. One of them is the steering wheel. It adjusts fine put once it is fixed in place it still moves up and down by about a centimetre! As you can imagine this is very annoying. My question is then what is wrong with it and how do i fix it? Thanks
  5. You work for force india? Sounds like a good job! Is the factory still the same old Jordan one? My grandad got a tour round there once, amazing place. Oh and i am signed up!
  6. Ok mate pm me your details and i will pay it. Dont think it will be alot to post. But would pay abit more for it to not be damaged in transit!
  7. I will take just the scraper then mate. Drivers side please would you take £12 posted?
  8. Fusebox cover tray £5.00 Drivers side Internal window scrapers each £10.00 How much for both of these posted mate? Providing they are in good condition.
  9. By this rate your whole car will be carbon!
  10. Yes sam! Leaving the underside unpainted though?
  11. Had the day off today to get the last few bits on my car sorted. Long and short of it is that i am back on the road! It drives lovely and pulls very well, no real issues at the moment. The H&R coilovers are brilliant they damp perfectly and are very confortable. I just need to get the wheel alignment sorted out next week and i am done. For now! Anyway here are a few pics of it next to my brother scirooco GT2.
  12. As above really, its down to personal preference. Drive both then you should have a clear idea of what you want! The g60 vs vr6 thing always has divided opinion on here so just see what you want and buy the best you can afford!
  13. Yes mate im going to most of the shows this year with my bro in his scirocco as well. I am at ultimate dubs in the indoor arena with the vr6 oc next week so i am pretty exited about that! We will have to convoy to a few shows mate!
  14. Will be back on the road tommorow. I have the day off and cant wait!! So many things have been changed on it though, its completely untested..... I hope it goes ok.
  15. That sounds like one hell of a car mate. Personally i would keep it, but if you do sell it dont let it go for silly money! I would put it at about 7k maybe more as you just dont see them in that sort of condition!
  16. Normally engines for sale are either bare (head, block, sump) or with all ancilleries ie alternator drive belt, cambelt. That sort of thing.
  17. I had a very low biting point on mine when i bought it. Turned out to be the clutch itself, it was catching on the bellhousing! I can only guess the springs were knackered, as the release arm and everything else was ok!
  18. Yeah, i know what you mean about character! It does go well for what it is, quite a little buzzbox! I keep telling him he needs a 16v on twin webers in there!
  19. So not a corrado but its close! My brothers car. Has got a 1.8 carb engine under the bonnet. Mods he has done are: Weber carb, gti cams, dizzy ,head, coilovers, borbet a wheels, stripped out rear seats and sound deadening and a few other tinted bits and bobs.
  20. A 37k storm! i would keep it! Sell something else if you need the money, kidneys fetch good prices on the black market i hear!
  21. Good choice with the corrado mate as long as you can afford all the bills! I used to have a 6n 16v before the vr and it was a great little car!
  22. Plates are road legal! Got them at a show for £30. They have all the road legal stuff on them and in my opinion look good!
  23. Big update! With ultimate Dubs fast approaching, we had to step up the corrado restoration a little! Unfortunately i only have the weekends where my dad and brother are free to work on it, but a few weeks back my dad was made redundant, so has beeen able to crack on with the corrado whilst i have been at work. The short version is that the engine is in! It is hooked up and its RUNS. Yes people, we have life! Runs nicely too with no misfires or any knocks or bangs. Very quiet, until you give it some anyway! So we are nearly there, just a few bits to tidy up and its done. PICS!
