Its true i think its poliester based or whatever which doesnt stick. Doesnt have a rough enough surface area to absorb any of the dye, ive also noticed that somechoose to do this with normal cans, which leaves it with a rough texture witch is pretty hard and not exactally the nicest quality finish Cheers though mate, il see what happens and post some pictures of what ever i decide to do.

Looking smart, nice car. Feeling the black wheels. Should polish the toher side too :)

ahaha i also hate those people with the range rovers who do about 2.5 mph as they only bought the car thinking if they crashed it theyd take evrything else out without injuring themselves.... This is off topic but does anyone here hate Tesco express? buying petty from them is a nightmare, all the dumb ass women in their Porsche Cayennes and Range Rovers going in to do their shopping as soon as you park behind them at the pump, they then take about 20 mins to come out with a bottle of milk. No way of moving around them as there another 5 dumb ass women in their range rovers blocking you in.... Do i deserve discount for it taking 20 mins to buy £10 of fuel?

Till you hit a curb then, £5-600 down the drain......... Along with owning an oval shaped set of borbets... My car is currently frozen, had no anti freeze in her so shes solid as a rock at the moment, im extreamly depressed as i love the snow, bloody evil driving weather, couldnt be more fun.... Black ice on the other hand is a b*st*rd. Im jealous of all you people who can enjoy this weather.... Also was the bird who took you out with her car fit? would make up for it i supose... As long as she warmed you up.... aha.

Ahaha, nice.... and i want black carpet, not grey blatently going tocost me more... viewtopic.php?f=11&t=40605&start=15 I personally think it looks sweet, better than my old tatty browny grey carpet

Thankyou very much for the offer mate,i think i will probaby have to take you up on that offer, would i be sweet using all the sae parts as the old stuff minus the bolts? My engine was in nice condition tbh 89k fairly decent everything else, now it overheats every 10-15 mins and very fast when on idol, its utterly usless. I have no gunk in my oil cap, no smoke... Puurs... and it had a HG in 2008... The garage said that their was oil or something like carbon monoxide coming from the coolent system and they said this would be due to a cracked head, told me to use this blue devil shit which, i was definatly not going to do.... If you could possibly give me an average weight and size and your address it would be helpfull please as then i could see what the postage cost will be... Cheers for the advise... Would it be a hard swap from 1.8 - 2.0, like loads of new parts needed etc? Cheers.
-
cheers mate, i jsut dont know how to go aout making it fit nice and not have chopped frayed eges on certain bits which i dont know how to leather seal the edges.... Cheers though. Is that black carpet, bits of carpet chipped to fit or a one bomb after market peice which slots in around the bits and bobs which are there?
-
Cheers for both comments, i will have to see what places say and i wouldnt be able to come down and pick it up even thogh i much apprechiate it as my car is not working.... I will try and see what my friends etc can do for me... Is it right you live in croydon? Thanks very much for the responses, any advie is better than my own. Aha, thanks.

Quality work mate, good effort.... Dash looks sweet. Paint looks edible.

Pretty bloody low, i cant get off my (Flat) drive without scraping my splitter, which is about an inch max from the ground..... Would they last me months or years with it low as **** basically?
-
I dont use them tbh i just asked them for a quote on what they thought it would be.... I use car care who are tbh, so rubbish i cant even explain it without using language which would without doubht ban me from this forum. Simplifyed into being usless. Broken parts and stated they didnt use them and said they wont pay to repair them, no care taken on my freshly painted wheels, now scratched/chipped around the bolt holes. Broke my mk1 door handles and told me they wouldnt have had to use the door when fixing the car, i laughed and said, obviously this means youve left my car open for the past week out side then? they obviously were stumped... I hate garages as i cant trust them, my work is potentially fairly un trustworthy but alot cheaper so i generally do it myself. Cheers people... what work would need to be done for a cracked head and what would it involve, sorry if this is a long answer but my car needs help so i supose its my best bet other than spending silly money on the car i only bought for £800

Not till i fix my drive shaft mind.... aha, then ill be back. :D I hope i dont miss the snow, i will definatly cry... I cant wait, lve it... just will be a bit annoying with my slow plough splitter.......

ahaa i was sjut about to say mk1 mx5, mates got one... Looks nice, them ebing low down looks a wee odd and the lights dont suit the car and dont suit any car but the rest looks sweeeet... Arghhh those brakes looks so dank. -
Sutton Coledfield... I will try another quote, garages are all skanks.... thats the problem. I cant find a decent machanic, the reaosn i dotn like sending my car to get done is because i generally am dis impressed by the work carried out or the price i pay for it to be done. Cheers though.

Was at Nationwide autos.
-
how much do you reacon it would cost as i got a quote on the head for 1300 for a new head to be put in. And 5-600 for a new engine, if i find one.
-
It my car, i do what i like with it.
-
"its so dirty!" You havnt seen mine... aha... White too, well brown. mine touches the floor most the time, did a bit of off roading the toherday when about 20 cars were all turning right and sitting there for about 20 mins waiting for all the idiot drivers to pull out my way would have got very irritating. It didnt sound nice, feel nice.... Wont be doing it again i have to say.
-
cheers mate, this will be done soon i jsut need to capital to purchase it in the first place. aha. Cheers pummer...

My car is currently overheating as appenrelty it has a cracked head, i got a quote on engine being put in (1.8 16v kr) which was £500 - 600 if i supply the engine and £1300 for them to put a new head in (Apparently a full rebuild) My expertise are far from superiour which is why im asking for someone to install it for me, i want to drive it now not in 3 years. Im aleady unsatisfyed by the enigine and its performane - Supercharger will eat my pockets (Have holes in them already) a VR would be nice but again id like to do it but would take me along time and alot of tools. Repairing it seems the best idea and sticking with the fact its slow (Sorry to anyone who i may offend) Anyone got any ideas on what i should do as im skint and need the car to work properly and not overheat every 15 mins... or somone who'd fancy doing me a vr conversion for a fairly decent price ? as you lot may think this is a better option. Im not a pussy to do things myself, i love getting stuck in on my car, after all its my car and i love it so id obviously want to do it, i also have some mad plans for the future which will depend on me knowing how to carryout a conversion. I lack tools, work space and knowledge but i generally work my way around that as i have done the majority of the work to all my cars my self. Minus a drive shaft as i had 9 stiches in my elbow and couldnt bend my arm and a clutch on my mk1 as i again doubted my abilitys. Id apprechiate any sugestions, cheers people. :epicfail:

Cheers mate, i really was not wanting to pay out for another and tbh im not feeling the labour either. If i had fitted it im sure it would work fine, so im taking it, if i pay more for a professional to do it, it should be done better and deffinatly still be working. Thanks again though mate.
-
aha of course, sounded nice purring away. You gave it a little boot too, i liked it... Had a big grin on my face after youd past. Always know a good sound of a vw engine (Hence me turning round) Car looks nice mate, im sure ive seen you before. You looked a wee moody when i saw you before tbh... might have been a shit day ay it i supose.... I was sitting in my car and flashed you and you. Saw it when i jsut had my mk1 also.

Black one today, tamworth road, sounded nice... Was washing mine, even though my driveshaft is broken, good job i supose, wouldnt have been washing it if it was working. :D
