Well after two heavy weeks working I managed to spend a few Hrs with the VR today. I gave her 'my' 1st wash Then I gave the seats a quick once over I am loving the leather :camp: :camp: But the air con is fantastic and these are my favorite buttons Oh and I gave her a proper 'ITALIAN' tune up :clap: :clap: Darren

I have used the options decoder to translate the boot sticker and have a few questions . Firstly I have 1AE which is EDS - how do I know if it is working? My car has option C5k which is alloy wheels 9j x 19 and H1V which is tyres 225/45 R17---- :shrug: surely both of these are wrong????/ Darren

Well starting looking at my new VR today and ending up finding a couple of small problems. The airbox ha been drilled (not unusual) but it has also been butchered in one corner to avoid the canister thing in the photo. What is the canister thing ? Could it be air-con related? Darren

Been such a busy week with work that I haven't even sat in the VR since Sunday. :( Might have to put that right in the Morning :D Darren

Cheers Kip, Paint ordered but bulbs can only be ordered in 10's so dealer said, typical! Gonna re-spray the inside of the boot(where spare wheel is) tomorrow as a bit of rust was beginning to show its face. Hi Mate I bet quite a few of us need these bulbs--maybe a group buy????????? Darren :)

Thanks Ian- I do feel I have bought a good one--The exhaust is a little loud (scared the hell out of a few cattle on Dartmoor)

The valver will be going for sale soon----I do feel the need for a 'double' photo shoot first though :camp:

Thanks mate - I am well pleased everything works plus total closure alarm and it has a great Sony Stereo with bluetooth. So I can link it to my iphone -play all my albums on the phone and use it as a hand free too :D :D Darren

When I got her she was rather too low for my liking- Couldn't get her over the big speed bumps in the hotel yesterday :shrug: So Once I got her home I raised her by 1''--- I can now get her up my drive :clap: Will I need to get the tracking checked as I have raised her up????????????? She has Diavia air-con , which I am really pleased about too. Plus the air-con buttons are where the heated seat buttons would go so It looks really good. Not got many pics yet but here are 2 MORE Bear in mind she needs a good wash/wax-- I found some very muddy lanes in south Wales Boy did I smile all the way home Darren

Well the weekend was great and I am now the proud owner of a Storm Grey VR6 Really good car with black leather and air-con too. :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: I will update you all probably tomorrow. One happy fella Darren

yeah I remember. It would have been good to chat some more and take a good look at your VR. But I had to leave early as my battery died & I wanted to get one on the way home. Ended up paying Halfrauds £90.

The mats are well worth while- they fit correctly and look good. Plus they take seconds to fit and nothing can go wrong :clap:

Well I have spent the last week using her for everything---really enjoyed it :clap: :clap: Decided the Momo steering wheel was great for driving but I have put the proper Corrado one back on as I prefer the look.Will probably sell the Momo on here if anyone wants one? I have got her booked in for the MOT on the 11th :shrug: :shrug: hopefully not too painful. Enjoying the sun!! Darren
