Why were late VR's so tall?

I showed my brother my VR6 for the first time last weekend, he was impressed and started to look in autotrader etc. He found an Aqua Blue one 2 mins from where he worked (present owner 7 years) . I went to view the car with him, whilst looking through the paperwork It transpired the owner bought it from a friend of mine . I had driven it 7 1/2 years ago. Anyway my brother has bought the car. Very original 115k, heated black leather,A/C & 4x4 stance :cuckoo: . The guy who sold it is moving to New Zealand which is ironic because that is where my mate went 4 years ago.

Well I do have a heater -- just not using it for obvious reasons.. What fish would you recommend then? -
Tropical fish - think I could get into this

Yeah that's mine :camp: It only holds 25 litres-- so I guess I am b****ed then! I thought that goldfish would only grow to the size of their environment  This whole scenario started when my daughter went to the fair--guess what she won? Darren -

Well I didn't expect to be discussing this on here. Tail end of last year we bought a small aquarium it is cold water with 4 fish and originally 3 plants (the fish destroyed one) I have read about the nitrogen cycle , which from what I understand will kick in at between 3-6 weeks and keep the water clear but it seems to be always a little green. I chance 10-20% of water weekly. Any advise? we have had the tank about 7 weeks Darren -
I used them one and will NOT make that mistake again

Want to but oil for topping up both the valver and the VR . as Eurocarparts have 20% off which of there oil do you guys recommend? Darren

You are lucky to have only blown a couple of bulbs---- could have been a lot worse!! Sent from iPhone 4 using Tapatalk

You need to get a voltmeter on your system . S/b showing 12+ volts without the engine running and around 14+ volts when it is running. Any more than that and you have a problem. Sent from iPhone 4 using Tapatalk

When I joined CCGB back in June I received a March 2010 copy of the Sprinter & I havn't had one since. How often are they produced? Darren

A good 16v Corrado is an absolute pleasure. they are IMHO a little more balanced than a VR6 as there is less weight up front. With a couple of sensible mods they will handle superbly and be quite economical to boot. Take a look at the thread of mine which is for sale (plug plug) These the the things to be looking for. If out of your budget then you can buy a cheaper one a do the jobs yourself. A good S/H is very important as is corrosion - as body repairs can be expensive. http://direct.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/vie ... 12&t=98463 Darren :D

I thought it was a good photo!

How about a full model/colour poll [Attention Corrado Nerds]
v8rumbler replied to v8rumbler's topic in General Car Chat
As there are more than 25 colours could we give the Blue cars a separate poll of there own and then there would be enough space. It would IMHO give a good snapshot of where we are with remaining Corrados  Darren -
Storm Grey Metallic
