  1. How long has the LPG been in? Is the plug gap correct? What is the state of the plugs now .
  2. LPG is very critical of ignition components . Once a car is set up for LPG everything needs to be spot on. Check your plugs- they s/b very clean as gas burns very cleanly. What leads are you using? They can make a big difference . Disco's and Rangy's only run well if Magnacor's are used. Hope this helps Darren
  3. Is it your daily driver? If not call Lynbrook 01695 629587 . I am paying £210 Inc breakdown recovery.Inc wife to drive. Hope this helps Darren
  4. Hi mate are the pics the same as the original calender that fell through?
  5. I have always believed that the oil filter is probably the most important thing you can bolt to a car and have always stuck to OE items. I know that the Mann ones are 'probably' as good but I would rather not go for an alternative.
  6. Had no luck on selling the valver :( So I decided to get them both out of the garage and drive them back to back     Then a couple of joint pics. Darren
  7. Yes I did call my local TPS and they said i had to prove I was a mechanic or worked at a garage!!!!!! Any tips !!!!
  8. My local stealers want full retail for one £13.67. Can genuine items be bought elsewhere for less????. They do seem to be very competitive on oil though- quantum 5w40 platinum £18.86.
  9. Totally agree the fluid needs checking. Over time brake fluid absorbs air/moisture and results in poor braking and spongy pedal.
  10. Well I am not alone with my thoughts!!!! Stu37 did have a grill- but it had no top clips at all. So I am still on the lookout before I give Mr.Volkswagen my hard earned.
  11. Hi mate My grill is fine but it is a badgeless one. I fancy a change and am looking for a good original (badged) type.
  12. I recently requested a 2nd hand grill in the wanted section and was offered one at a price higher than I can purchase the same item new from VW!!!! My advise to all is make sure you are aware of what is available new , at what price and what the CORRECT going rate is for a used item. If the 2nd hand parts prices are artificially inflated then the number of Corrados being 'broken' is bound to increase...
  13. I know Haynes do not do a Corrado book but is the Golf Mk3 VR6 one worth getting?
  14. My top 5 would have to include Blackberry and I know I am biased but I rate Storm Grey Mettalic as one of the best colours!!!!!!!
  15. Well done Chris e-mailed pic sent Oh & I better have one myself Darren :D
