Bump, need this gone to pay for my 3.2 lump, VERY open to offers, maybe even cheeky ones lol
-
Couldn't agree more with the above, thanks for taking the time to sort this out! Sorry if I sounded impatient lol
-
Look good, when do I pay? :)
-
I'm taking the engine out of mine next weekend, don't know what condition the sump is in but if you are still looking for one ill let you know?
-
I definitely want a set of these, could you PM me if the time comes and I don't respond, I keep forgetting to check back to see what's happening with this!
-
If Phil doesn't take these I'll have them for £35 and collect at the weekend.
-
I would also like in on this, one set please
-
Also included is a mk3 tdi fuel tank and PD lift pump, the tank will fit mk2 golfs, and I've been told it should fit a corrado but I never got around to trying so can't confirm this
-
Thanks Sean :) Yes Jonathan it's pretty much ready to bolt in, fits exactly the same as a 1.8T, same mounts etc Only part I don't have is a MAF sensor, well I have one but its no good lol, Got a working MAP sensor which is included. Cheers

Interested in a couple of sets!

Thought I'd let you know how I got on! After making several cuts in the bolt heads with a dremel and cutting disc, I thought I would snap the remainder of the bolt head off by twisting it using a socket and ratchet, to my surprise both bolts had freed off and just turned out! I greased up the spare bolts I had and gently fitted the new elbow, bolts tightened to 10nm without the captive nuts turning, might be a different story when I want to remove it next but ill worry about that then lol Done about 200miles since and all is well :D
-
Lmfao awesome commentary lol Roughly how much did the setup cost?
-
Thanks for taking the time to reply Roger, I'm going to attempt to change it at the weekend, weather permitting, so I'll let you know how I get on! Cheers
-
Hi Roger, Just wondering how you got on with this? My rad elbow snapped yesterday and when I tried to remove it, I have the same problem that you had :( I have a spare rad and elbow but don't really want to swap the rad at the moment if I can help it, had the same idea as you about pushing the bolts through and looking at the spare rad it should work but though I would ask first. Any input appreciated :)

My grandma's looking for something to buy me for Christmas  -
Normal sized coffee mug, half fill with whiskey(cheaper the better, using good stuff is just a waste), top up with lemonade, microwave until hot, hotter the better, then add a lemsip, carefully a little at a time or it will fiz up and all over the place! Drink whilst tucked up in bed, guaranteed to get you all hot and sweaty but in a good way As soon as I feel a cold coming on I knock a couple of these into me and since I've started doing this they don't seem to develop into man flu as often

I could be interested, my VR has got a bit of a dodgy install which I'm going to remove and replace with something a little more discreet! It's currently got an amp and crossovers stuck to the door cards, all I want to run is speakers in the standard locations and HU with decent power -
Hi guys, Sorry but I gave them a ring today and apparently they're really busy and don't have time to do little jobs anymore :(
