Good idea mate. When I turn on my heating I get a funny smell and the front windows tend to steam up a bit. Losing a wee bit of coolant too. T.

I found the bolts on the pulley for the water pump, especially one of them, a big problem to get off. Otherwise its quite an easy but fiddely job. Really need to jack the engine up high to get into it! T.

Mine rattle when there down too. Its really annoying. Not sure what can be done to sort them. WANTED: AUDI RS6 MMMmmmmm.................. oh yes. I'm with you on that.

Red VR6 tickle your fancy?? T.

Dont think it can be done. Try Admirals multi car policies. They can work out cheaper for multi car house holds. T

Push the loud pedal harder.............

As above. How easy/hard is it? Looks more fiddley than anything else. Si

312mm's are superb but no matter what you do the brakes still feel spongy. 312mm's will rip your face off though. It physically hurts when you stamp on the brakes. They are huge and look the dogs. Only problem is, they dont fit behind all 16" rims which is a factor to consider. T.

Have you got a part number for that air temp sensor?? T.

Oil cooler seals are easy to change. A bit fiddly getting room to work, but easy. I once put mobil 1 0w40 in mine. It used the oil like it was petrol. Its far too thin for the vr6 and its rather expensive too. Supercharged, Noted mate, cant get things right all the time. T.
-
First off. What weight is the mobil 1 oil you have used?? Hope its not 0w40 stuff. Is the oil coming from the part of the oil filter housing?? or is it coming from the silver type thing that is on the front of the engine just above the filter housing? If its coming from the latter, thats known as the oil cooler. It has two water pipes going into it. Often the seals on them go. Really easy to fix. Maybe a picture of where's it leaking from would be helpful. T.
-
As long as they are genuine then it should be fine. Maybe they have redesigned them. All my ones have been metal. If the plastic one ends in 'B'. That means its a revised part. The higher the letter the more times it has been re designed. Is the oil leak above the filter then??
-
The oil cooler seals have probably gone. Its a silver thing above where the oil filter is. Did you buy a genuine VW oil filter. And if so is it the one that is on your car. If not, I suggest getting a genuine one on, as all others are no good and may cause problems/damage. The VW have a special design that keeps the oil up, or something like that. Only use VW filters!! Glad someone is paying attention. Currently running two insurance group 18 cars (one being a Corrado) and the 4motion continually does around 26-27 mpg. Dont think the S4 can be much worse. It may be group 20 but my insurance is next to nothing due to the area I live in and my job 8) . Sitting tight at the minute as I can be quite impulsive at times!! T.
-
Yeah, I will miss the Corrado............but it has to be done. I'm not selling the Corrado so I can buy a s4. I'm selling the rado to buy a house. Buying a s4 is my way of treating myself, although in a weeks time i'll have probably changed my mind again. Love the 4motion but I'm not sure whether to spend alot of money upgrading or sell it and buy something that is faster already. Its a tough decision. T.
-
Its ok, I really want to move into Audis' Just need to sell the Corrado and then I can seriously start looking.......... Bring on the hunt!! T.
-
MMMmmmmm.............. interesting. Also looking at Subaru Legacy B4. Also a twin turbo, only imported, looks the dogs and have 280 bhp! Tempting
-
As title, thoughts on Audi S4's. Comments?? I'm talking about the 2.7 V6 twin turbos. (B5) I feel it would be a natural progression from my 4motion. Plus, the prices of them are quite suprising 8) Ta T.

I like the one next to the 'Bora' badge too. That leaves me with only one for the Corrado. Maybe I should have bought more! :( I wonder what it would look like being next to the 'Corrado' badge rather than underneath it? ...................goes to check. Cheers guys. T.

Dont panic, I haven't stuck any on. Its called blue tack!! :) T.

Just bought some cool german flag badges of ebay. Cant decide where to stick them on the car. Any ideas? Seen them put above side indicators but it doesn't look quite right. I'll take some pictures. Timo.
