each to their own, look like squared off versions of BBS CHs if you ask me. Considering Rados are fairly squared off I think they might...look half decent. If we all had the same taste the world would be a pretty boring place. Haha thanks HAG They're 17x 8.5 ET 50 so room for adapters. ---------- Post added at 12:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:54 AM ---------- And my crappy paintshop mock ups. As I said would be great to see if anyone had a real picture I could look at.

Want to know if anyone has seen these wheels on a rado? Would love to see a picture to get an idea......I made a few paint shop mock ups and it looks good but never the same as a genuine picture....
-
good to know, thanks ;) I might have tried to replace it with a mk2 one otherwise.

I'll try and check out the fan operation cheers. ---------- Post added at 10:41 AM ---------- Previous post was at 8:47 AM ---------- Haven't been able to check the fan yet as its dark outside. But unbelievably I just noticed how tiny the standard G60 rad is..... My aussie spec mk2 radiator is nearly twice the size.... Anyway I'm sure given its cooler weather here, it'll be either fan switch or thermostat.

Hey guys and gals. So previously it seemed my G60 wasn't getting up to temp. Now, when stuck in traffic for 5mins(after already being warm) last night, the water was at 110 and the oil 118. Was around 18 degrees last night. Is this normal??? Driving me insane. Not sure if it is actually the correct readout...seems to be as it goes up in traffic as you'd expect.

do corrados need much arch rolling? I know my mk2 golf was a PITA to roll.
-
Hi guys sorry for the post, but search maybe wasn't working for me and I couldn't find anything Will 17 x 8.5 fit ok with a little bit of stretch? ET 50 Looking at some mk2 audi tt rims with adapters.... but will they clear the guards? Any experience would be great.
-
Hi guys. Re opening this vein. So 2 weeks on. I've made no changes yet and the water temp seems to be back to normal but the oil temp is now fluctuating up to 106 on a very cool evening driving normally in a bit of traffic??? Normal?

Hey Guys, Its my first winter with the G60 and its just started to become cold. Last night driving home in the rain around 12degrees outside. The water needle was around 72-75 degrees and the Oil was struggling to get to 90-88. Do I have a problem or is this normal? Edit: Was driving for an hour....

Haha that is awesome, thank you so much, hope he's still making them :D Turned a laughable failure into a cheap permanent fix ;)

So my passenger door handle stopped working last week. Took it apart over the weekend and look what I found inside the door. So being new to corrados I am going to hazard a guess and say that this is a common failure....haha Is the drivers side similarly dodgy? Given its higher use, does that mean I'll find twice as many loose parts inside the drivers door? Is there a newer better design of the original parts that will stop this from happening? Or is this simplest method to change to something like Audi style handles? Sadly I guess I'd have to do away with the auto close function.

Hey Guys and Gals Since I am all the way over in Australia and it would be silly of me to try and import whole bumpers to simply cut up and use as parts when I only need small portions of them, hence I am appealing here. Can anyone cut sections (or may have lying around) that are needed to do the front number plate recess and two portions for the rear tow eye removal and exhaust removal. Cheers Carl.
-
Thanks for that, saves hassle of having to change the rear beam eventually. I'm sure the wider wishbones will only mean better handling ;) If I end up getting the passat I'll let you know. It is a B4 though...
-
Hi guys, Bit of a repost, but will prob get a better and quicker answer in this section. Will a passat VR6 be an ok donor car in terms of the: Control arm length, and rear beam width? Or is there any other reason(that anyone can think of) why a passat VR6 WOULDN'T be a suitable donor car when going to VR6? (as opposed to using a mk3 golf VR6 donor) Cheers.
-
Old one, but a bump as an OBD2 96 passat VR6 has popped up in my area cheap..... Would the control arms and rear beam of a passat VR6 be an ok fit Vs std VR6 golf 3 parts?

Hi Guys Am wanting to refit the original pipe that runs from the passenger side of the charger to the cam cover breather. The question I have is....as you can see from the picture there seems to be some sort of sealant around the aftermarket plate and I am wondering if I take it off I'll need some sort of gasket to refit the original plastic pipe? Cheers.
-
Hello all, Am after a G60 throttle body from an auto car, obviously for the added TPS. Cheers, Carl.

HAHA are you single?

Nice find. But I already have a g60, a mk2 , and an R32. Haha. I really want a VR, though I'd recommend anyone with a nice rare car to bring it with them if they move. Generally cars are worth a lot more over here.
-
DO IT!!!! haha Goldie your car is perfect! If anyone was willing to do this and sell their corrado to me, I'd be more than happy to pay for the cost of importing. Funnily enough I'm not a fan of the storms because of the color coded bits and tan interiors.
-
I'm convinced I was born and raised in the wrong country!!! haha Blackberry VR6 hmmm.....come here!!! and bring your air conditioning(perfect).
-
I'm always asking silly questions here due to my lack of corrado knowledge. So why not ask another silly one. Anyone who owns are VR6 rado planning on moving to Australia? ...if so, don't sell it! Bring it with you and sell it to me! haha The only way to bring a corrado into the country here is as a personal import (must have owned it for over a year in the country you are coming from, to be able to bring it with you when you move to Australia) I have managed to get my hands on one G60 corrado (only about 8 corrados total in Australia). Its beautiful but a bit rough, and I've always had my heart set on a VR6. ...looking at Goldies silver VR6 has inspired me further.

Any pics of yours with the 16s?
