Theres another screw underneath, take out the rear ashtray........and look inside the cavity towards the gearstick... Theres two parts to the handbrake surrond the top part is help on with two screws and the bottom black plastic bit is held on to the carpet with four round plastic nut things, dont yank these things are fragile and will break easily HTH. An incident what happened to me about 10 years ago, It was my sisters Wedding and i was assisted the duty of keeping a car parking space reserved for someone untill they came back which meant i had to stand in the gap (reverse forward parking) I was 14 at the time so i was standing there leaning again a bollard, and this guy came in a very clean granada mk2 and looked at the space, i said to him it was reserved for someone, but he did not listen he drove forward and reversed into the gap, but he reversed so fast obviously to scare me and it worked i legged it only for him to come crashing into the bollard i was leaning against.......all my cousins were in hysterics it was so f**king hilarious!

Inside the boot behind the right hand panel there is a white solenoid which operates the pin for the fuel flap, when this packs up the fuel flap wont open/close you can manually move it up and down to lock unlock, before you change it have a look around to make sure the pipe aint come off, split.

Depends on the location and the type of bodyshop it is, my brother owns a garage in the same block so we kinda know them, thats why he sorted out a good price for me. or im not 100% sure about this one but, later pg engines had two diagnostics sockets under the gearlever surround so have a look under there if you have a black and white plug than its the later engine.

There is more chance that the track rod ends may need adjusting, what about if one wheel is misaligned so its like / l and by trying to straighten it you will make it like l \ get the tracking sorted first mate cos thats where they make sure both wheels are paralell

what shape is the anti roll bar bush? try one from a vr6 or any other car in the vw audi range which have standard bigger ARB's I know superflex do similar bushes to powerflex but a little cheaper. how comes the wishbones were different did the part numbers match? maybe they fobbed you off with mk2/mk3 items?

no cause im going to flush the newer bumper where i get it! The number plate stays on the front bumper as there isnt much space to put it elsewhere, i didnt see whether he just filled it or welded it but i'll ask him when he's back at work

I wont start on my cars..actually i will :) I'm 24 now and have two Corrado g60's one sorted (just about) and one for spares just incase. @ 23, i had a corrado 16v brief fling! and rover coupe turbo 22, golf clipper and rover 216 coupe 21, citroen zx m reg (horrible) 20, 205 gti 1.6 19, 205 xs, golf 1.3, scirrocco 1.6 18 first car polo coupe i get through cars like ciggies! but the g60 is here to stay even if i get a vr6
