  1. Bally Ace Cafe is On tonight, Bring your car down early and park it with a for sale sign, might not be effective but worth a try.
  2. Dont worry when mines ready i will get in touch with them, but then again they're never ready! Bally your going in the right direction with them speaker pods! I think i'd like to see a feature on, these peoples cars: Alex. Ant (yellow), James Renshaw, Cheesy, Furki's (well maybe not.........yet;))
  3. Lets all go to german and swedish and buy some of these and sell them to the mugs on Ebay! [web]http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... egory=9889[/web] FFS their only 90p from GSF or ECP!
  4. AFAIK, There was a 2.0 16 valve peugeot/citroen engine which was twin cam 16 valve ACAV engine and had coil pack like the 20vT and had some sort of variable inlet, but the later 2.0 16v used normal coil and wasnt ACAV.
  5. Its Probably Nick Micouris With the black corrado VR6
  6. LOL if make the hole bigger in the hubs, than maybe! : :D Right the holes for a pcd 4/100 are going to be 100 mm apart now the holes on 4/98 are 98 mm apart so the 4/100 have a slightly bigger diameter, the PCD are made to precision that even a PCD 98 wont fit PCD4/100. Are you looking to fit mgf wheels or something?
  7. Jim any chance you can do the same car in black just wanna see what it would look like?
  8. Well i've a set of Masitaly's which look like kahns, that im selling could do with a refurb and they would look just like that!
  9. So does anyone belive in reincarnation then :D
  10. GOLF RALLYE DEFINATELY! G60 4 Wheel Drive (golf on steroids) generally the rover coupe turbo would be my second choice against the corrado but i've already had one of these, and its funny because the rover boys sort out the handling of the car and the corrado (g60) are sorting out performance form their cars, so its kinda the same predicament!
  11. How are these sold? do you have to press out the old one and press the new one in? or do they come as a complete part? Spoke to german and swedish and euro crap parts and niether of those companies do these mounts, so is only Dealer for this part?
  12. 20 watt fuses aint heard of these before :? I'm using a 20amp fuse with 100 watt bulbs and it works perfectly on my home made kit but i'm going to use better connections and the waxy waterproof connectors as its an outside jobby.
  13. A company called Ring who make bulbs and stuff, make a wiring kit which is quite capable of uprating the headlights. It comes as a proper kit with a relay, 20 amp fuse wiring and is adequate to run 55/60W bulbs a couple of modifications may be needed to join to the corrado headlights, the kit comes with good connector, heatshrink tubing and looked well constructed. I think it retails for around £15. People looking to uprate their headlight loom could consider this as a cheaper alternative to trimsport looms, although 2 would be needed to run dip beam and full beam. I can get more info on this kit if people are interested.

    Battery Covers

I've seen that later VW's and Audi's have a cover for the battery made of some sort of cloth. I'm thinking of getting one of these on my car does it have any other function apart from keeping the battery warm? :D
  15. How about redrilling the hubs with an extra set of holes for the porsche wheels
  16. Is it a big company or a one man band?
  17. nop, all companies want 5 year conviction declared, so who's been a nuaghty boy then! Blimey which insurance company were you with before?
  18. i think you have got a case but because u supplied some second hand bits they can point to that. Did you get a reciept for the work they did on your car? Firstly: if they removed gearbox than they should know what procedures are involved and preventative methods to use, if they havent removed/replaced with care then this is negligence. Secondly: Its not worth the hassle of taking a gearbox out and not replacing the clutch! the clutch for these cars are fairly cheap as long as they didnt use a reconditioned cheap part its probably not the clutch. Thirdly: If you supplied the 2nd hand gearbox to them than there is no warranty on the part, however they should garantee their workmanship and rectify things if they went wrong. Another point they may pick up on if you went to a claims court, is that u supplied the parts like a gearbox which you had at home and you must've taken it out yourself, so why could'nt you do the clutch on your own car, implying that there must've been something more than just the clutch.
  19. I had a race with a golf tdi once, i was in a BMW 525 (E34) auto and in sports mode full kickdown too and couldnt keep up with it....the BMW was fast but the golf won!

  22. Yeah I bough my corrado from a lady too, go to say she kept the interior mint, but the exterior was scratched and had couple of parking dings here and there and she didnt service it properly, just the oil and filters, spark plugs aint been changed for god knows how long.
  23. LOL :D hopefully not pigeons!
  24. I have been getting intermittent starting problems with my car and blamed it on the infamous ignition switch untill i went to change it and right before my eyes i saw the actual aluminium column was broken. What i wanna know is: would it still be the ignition switch which is faulty or would the column be causing the starting problems i can start the car by holding the key up at an angle or wiggling it. And secondly can the steering column be used from a later corrado as they had a different cowling and i've heard these used sheer bolts are they easy to remove? thanks in advance. Majik
