  1. That sounds about right , it's very common for a larger fitting to be used here and there
  2. Once it has being drilled can you fit a panel filter in the original housing?? As these do give a small increase
  3. Im a noob on very but here are the basics Get it breathing better, fit an air filter either a panel or good quality enclosed set up with cold air feed from the front of the car Look at the throttle body, can the internal castings be cleaned up at all?? Opened out and smoothed out, can this then be port matched to the inlet?? The inlet itself, same as above then fit a ptfe inlet gasket, this helps to reduce heat pAss from the head to inlet, the cooler the sir the more dense it is so the bigger the bang Those are the easy ones, then your in to looking at cams and ignition optimisation and after market Ecu or reprogramming the standerd item Also look at the exhausts a good quality free flow exhaust helps to free things up a bit aswell
  4. I would of thought so, the group tend to interchange parts across the group
  5. GET THESE WHIKST YOU CAN I START A NEW JOB ON THE 25th JUNE SO THE BRAKELINES AND STAINLESS BOLTS WILLBE TAKING A BACK SEAT FOR A MONTH OR SO Also now do inlet manifold bolts and cam cover bolts to suit the KR series engine
  6. Custom lines also available to suit fitment of aftermarket or Porsche calipers IF YOU INTEND ON BUYING THESE I SUGGEST IT IS SOON I START A NEW JOB THE END IF JUNE (with Mercedes) SO THESE WILL BE TAKING A BACK SEAT FOR A MONTH OR SO
  7. Glad you got the braids sorted Yeah sometimes if your only doing a few brake lines now and again it's easier and cheaper to get them made up by either a friendly garage or most independent garages will also do them
  8. Any one had any mot issues with it fitted??
  9. oooh me like wasnt going to mod my car much but may have to do this
  10. Speak to sub11 in Peterborough, the owner used to work at jabba
  11. any luck with the details mate?
  12. My sealey is like that , two halts of a wedge surround the pipe, you then put a blank die/ centring die in to the end wind it down in place , it moves the pipe in to the right place and pushes the wedge back to hold the pipe in place, unscrew the die , put the flare die in place and repeat gives a perfect end every time The handheld ones are useful, we used to have one and a fed ends some pipe etc with us when we went off roading, great for an emergency repair
  13. Is it the handheld one?? A good bench/ vice mounted one is what you want
  14. Alot if it is down to quality of the tools used, you will get a flare a cheap set up but it's so much easier to do with a good quality set up My Sealy kit cost close on £200 about ten years ago, but is so quick and easy to use and get good results with
  15. Next order goes in friday
  16. Oh they are a bit specialised I'm going to have get under a car and check a few
  17. This is a popular mod so I have now had ten pairs of the hoses made up for the golf mk2 onwards including corrado And 5 pairs of the mk1 fitment type
  18. Or the kit I sell via the forum
  19. Yes afaik the pads and disk are the same Just the brake line , caliper and cables that differ
  20. Cheers Making them bolts rather than set screws isn't a problem. That will give the shanked section of bolt, the taper dog nose is nice to have but isn't a neccesacity as you say it just makes initial location easier, mainly for use on the assembly line And again a flange head is possible, but does nothing a good thick wAsher doesn't do All depends how oe you want to keep it, and then compare that to the difference in price
  21. Matt do you. Have the length, pitch and size for all those bolts?? See my thread in suppliers forum
  22. No worries mate Let me know
  23. correct length and spec banjo bolts now available, complete with washers, these fit the front and rears from the mk4 they are £5 each or £8 the pair when purchased with matching hoses ---------- Post added at 11:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:24 PM ---------- i have a look in to this, see a few american sites sell them, i can certainly be better than that price they have standered male 10 threads on each end, so if you can let me know the total length i can sort a price out, will offer them with both mild steel and stainless ends
