beg borrow or steal...just buy the car... low milage, lady owner, cars like this dont come up to often and when they do they usually to good to be true.....so if this one is genuine id say go for it! oh and if you do want to meet up to take some pics give me a shout...always up for taking photos....especially of corrados  -

i remember that feeling when i got into my VR..... the drive home was sensational  where you from? i saw you mention cambridge in a previous thread...if so maybe you might want to meet up some time? could take some snaps of both cars together? -
I would have rather gone for the H&R's myself but couldnt justify the extra cost.....the price i paid for my shocks and springs...it pretty much works out i got the springs free with the shocks so it would be another £120 onto to get the H&R's if anyone with a VR6 wants to buy the springs off me for £90 though i'll go out and spend the extra on the H&R's
-
i looked into the H&R and there about £120-£140 and lower the car about 30mm
-
errrr.... when is it anyway????

im coming into this heated debate a bit late in the day. Im with corradostorm, a show shouldn't JUST be for the ppl who spend big money on their cars...OK maybe they should be at the front of the pitch....but the majority of ppl attending are owners of normal cars who would be more than willing to polish the car for the weekend and hove ppl ask them questions about it...... personnaly id rather look at subtle mods that i can afford to do myself on all the corrados there, than be stuck with only being able to stare wishfully at the £10000 thats been spent on one or two cars. i went to JAPS and JAE last year with my CRX. paid £5 to park it on the massive plot that was allocated to the CRX forum and enjoyed looking at the other cars of fellow enthusiasts i may wander to inters if im not doing anything else...but thats the point...it should be something that all VW owners have in their diarys! (that'll be £4.50 please)
-
i guess as you say, it is personal preference.... I am coming from a go-kart style CRX so any suspension on the corrado is going to feel alot softer / more comfortable to me.... but to you, it probably feels like its shaking itself to bits!
-
at least VW V6 is on a VW.... all be it a golf gti
-
there is nothing on the page?
-
always pleased to be of service *bows* we'll see if its as easy to do in real life as it sounds on the forum one question...one the passenger side of the dash is off which side is the fan, how do you get the plastic / rubber housing off?? ok that was 2 questions.
-
nice, im not familiar with the corrado tail lights. i take it these will not fit straight in?
-
actually.... that wont fit through the hole will it. the hole is only as wide as the connector :? looks like i will have to learn how to solder then
-
thanks lads.... i'll take a look next weekend.... getting a bit late in the day now.
-
wow, that sound fiddley!! any pics. i reckon it will make it look better. look at the following befre and after pics of his another thing i found that i hope will just fit straight in (im not the best at soldering in the world :? ) are these http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/product_info ... 31b90ce4b7 £12.50 though....each

i didnt think that many people had the basslink.... great little unit isnt it!!
-
My heater fan is thing making most noise in my car now! i want to take it apart and see if it can be greased up of if not swaped for a new one. How do i get to the fan though? does the dash board have to come off? has anyone done this job before? thanks
-
but those have little led's on the sides...surely that will spread the light? anyways.....im not so worried about the rear lights.... i want to make the front lights whiter....he has those 501 led replacements shoved into the corrado bulb holder? i cant read japaneese unfortunately...anyone know how to do this and if its a n easy thing?? ta

i drove my mates vr6 with 17" and the koni kit and it felt really good. not too bumpy but good handling. i drove kevheywires vr6 with h&r springs and koni shock and 15" wheels and it felt like standard (apart from absolutly no body roll) i have my koni kit sitting in the shed waiting to be fitted still.....buy its not gonna be as hard as my mates at least as he has 17"s so im sure i'll be happy with it.... ....what were you expecting with rubber band tyres and stiff shocks?? i doubt the H&R springs will make much difference to be honest??
-
cheers, any one else??
-
yeah looking back it was a really stupid thing to do but hey i was young and still learning..... just wanted to make sure no one else made that mistake
-
all well and good, but its a bugger to get a big bit of mdf that is shaped to the boot, out of the car anyway....then try it with a basslink screwed to it!!!! i had that on my honda and vowed never to make a similar design...im gonna try putting a hatch it in for the spare wheel this time.
-
ha ha, ditto..mine too. i did have an idea of trying to strap it to the back of the rear seat but its just too big. Think i will have to make a false boot floor to mount it on... DONT go screwing it into the metal on the right hand side... that be the petrol tank
