The corrado is quite a boxy car with lots of straight lines and angles, i think the square lights complement its body shape As Purple Tom says anything is possible, but If you were to put sweeping lines, curvy lights and wings on the front end it would look ridiculously out of place with the rest of the car, unless you modified the rest to suit Just my 2p

Can you put me down for one too please ? How long would it take you to turn it around if i did get my shifter out ? Thanks
-
Thanks Portent :salute: Lots of usefull info there, can i ask what year and mileage yours has done ?, just so i can compare it to what im looking at "averages near 30mpg" doesn't sound too good tho, i have been expecting something more on par with a 12v, low to mid 30's But overall a positive experience and reliable which is good to hear, one thing i don't want to happen is for a daily to end up diverting funds away from the corrado and other projects Thanks for the offer of letting me take a look at yours, unfortunately i wouldn't be insured

So ive decided that i need a new daily and a 4mo seems to tick quite a few boxes Ive seen a couple that i like the look of and will be going to have a look at them early next week Any weak points or problems i should be aware of ? what are they like to live with ? Thanks, Steve

-
Well it No. 3 thats missing now.... Ive got a spark and the plug is getting quite wet, compression is also good, but still not running right, could it be overfilling / injector problem ?

Anyone have indepth knowledge of building regs?
Southie replied to 24V Renshaw's topic in Off-topic Chat
If hes problem is the proximity of the trees and you have highly shrinkable clay then removing the hedge wont make a difference, no The problem being that the hedge will be taking water out of the ground and removal will stop this, you could then find the additional water within the clay will result it in swelling and heave, so you basically have the same 'shrinkable clay' problem but in reverse Who is acting as building control ? you local authority ? Ive seen people nominate other local authorities to act as their building control because there more reasonable! but others have said its just down to negotiation, you could employ a structural engineer to put you argument forward, building 7m away seems a fairly safe distance to me (but im civils not structural) and if your neighbors have had theres standing without problems you might be able to come up with a good case, doing that will delay the build and come with its own costs tho... -
Thanks Cazza, Think ill order a Beru one, £145 delivered sooo much better than than the £344 that VW want

Ive lost the spark to cylinder 1, the leads had seen better days so I replaced them all with OEM reds and changed the plugs for good measure too. But I still have no spark  When changing the plugs and leads I ended up having to remove the inlet mani to get better access as one of the leads broke up when I tried to remove it (even with a removal tool) I noticed that my coil pack has a two hair-line cracks in the case I'm guessing that a new coil pack is needed? Just looking for reinsurance before bending over at VW.... :( Thanks
