well had to go outside and try and measure them, the tyre measures across the top at 22cm, which is 8.3 inch, so my crappy un official guess is at least 7 but im sure they look 7.5 :shrug:

yeah they are a corrado wheel!! there are a few which just look like they should be on a corrado -
hmm, mine are in pretty good condition with good tyres they are wider than 6.5 im sure, will have to measure them right now :lol:

my old VR one was bad, new one is fine... i have a 1992 golf gti i use daily and has exactly the same steering wheel which is in good condition after 135k, so im sure you could just buy a new one cheap from someone on the bay

yeah it has an external one, havent had a good look at it tbh as the weather has been shite!! will let you know when i get a chance... you saying the internal one is on the way out could be it actually, its making that noise where its struggling and fizzy if that makes sense?? they are a must!! and like you say save your car/life... i have had 1 near miss, the rest of the time i have had loads of brakes left :lol: 8)

thanks for the reply kev!! its the external pump under the drivers door which is making the noise, and i havent changed the fuel pump yet (i have only done 1500 miles though i reckon :lol:) maybe i should get that changed and then the external fuel pump while im at it

love cleanyourcar!! i would choose a dual action to start with, easily get rid of swirls with the right pad and polish without worrying you might go through the paint... easier to control as well!! i use a mcallister orbital sander which works great on a budget, £35 from b&q, use 6.5" chemical guys hex logic pads which are awesome, and menz polishes as said above 8) depends on budget really though as you can go on and on...

my fuel pump sounds blocked or on its way out guys, what fuel pumps do you guys have/recommend?? i think i remember Marcus saying it was an uprated one, do i need a better than standard one... :shrug:
