1. Why did Decembers winning bidder make the second bid of £1000 this time? Lol
2. I've been watching this for sale for many weeks now. The bidding this week has been a real treat to watch, bid up and down like a mad up and down thing! Great fun to see!
3. A liner is now required to meet building regs, very hot brickwork is not good, you will get damage. There has been a massive increase in house fires the last few years due to wood burners, get the chimney swept regular. Wood burners/ multifuel stoves are around 75% efficient........Open fires are around -15% efficient, YES THEY ACTUALLY COOL THE HOUSE!:shocked!: Oh and you must have an open air vent and carbon monoxide detector.....for new installations.
4. Ebay had lots a couple of weeks ago.
5. My first Corrado, a G60 was undriveable, kept swapping ends! The VR6 was fine, wide tyres don't help but no real dramas. We have put snow tyres on our Lupo GTI this year, narrower and higher side wall. Went from 205/45/15 to 185/55/15........perhaps this is the best way with the corrado in the snow?
6. Thanks for that Andy, I got far too bored to explain the sailent points of the case. I identify fully with your last line, and that was part of my point, that was someones dad or grandad. Those "men" were nothing but outright bullies and a f*cking disgrace to the police uniform! Anyone who can't see that, can't see anything!
7. No he had bought a hat, removed his own penis and changed his name via deed poll to Her Majesty The Queen.
8. You're right should have shot the old c*nt dead for stupidity.
9. Go into safety then delete browsing history :) Near the top right of your screen
10. Covering well here in Worcestershire too, been snowing since mid day...................Fun in the Landcruiser time!!!!!!!
11. The man had stopped, they gave him no chance to get out! Whatever had happened before, there was no justification for this. He was not trying to escape, he was not violent, he had not robbed anyone nor murdered. Watch the witness in the background, he is in my opinion, not happy with their behavior and he's at the scene! They were violent bullies, the judge agreed or they wouldn't have paid out. We have the right, if we suspect they are not real policemen, to drive to the nearest police station without getting out. Who the hell do these policemen think they are? They give decent coppers a bad name! Police service or police force? I was under the impression the UK had the former? I hate bullies!!!!
12. 94 VR6? ;) I'll go for throttle damper.....
13. Very few LHD Corrados in the UK I'm afraid. :)
14. I remember seeing this when it happened, I thought at the time that it was completely over the top. I wonder how people on here would feel if it were there father or grandfather? These policemen were nothing more than maniac bullies! I once had four of the **** attack me with side handled battons because I called someone a c*nt in front of them. All four were pathetic and couldn't fight there way out of a paper bag! Time to call for reinforcements lads!......The judge was not happy with them!
15. Very true Wullie, I sold my Turbo quattro as parts were obsolete! Worse than that though was the bitching on the quattro forum, I have not found that on here. Disagreements are fine, bitching among men grinds on me.
16. True the ads are linked to the cookies in your browser! lol I had a white VR6, will upload a pic later.
17. I almost bought a Dialynx copy last year, it was £15k. I had a 1987 Turbo quattro which I sold last year, nice car but the Corrado is better, and feels a lot quicker!
18. If you mean the drag race analogy I just took it as a joke elliot, I sometimes wear a mini skirt and high heels too! ;) I quite like 1/4 mile runs.....not often that it ends in a collision with the scenery!
19. A rebuild at the local auto electricians on the old one shouldn't be expensive.
20. Not sure where the fuse would be, possibly in the alarm, there should be a cover to unscrew. Anyone on here got info on the VAG Scorpion 5000 alarm?
21. Did you try the key switch Sounds like a fuse to me
22. Hmmm 1/4 mile fans.......that would be me then! Always been into drag racing......cars and boats! :)
23. Yep, a jump lead on the battery and just touch the terminal on the starter. ---------- Post added at 08:06 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:10 PM ---------- Just looked at your other thread with the pic, the large cable bolted on is the main cable from the solenoid. This is where the ignition switch cable goes to, not to the starter motor itself! The solenoid is like a big relay, the ignition switch causes this to make contact to the starter straight from the battery.
