  1. toss£r - he's gonna regret driving off now!
  2. Cool - very nice - remember now you have a BMW you don't need to indicate ever again!
  3. It's moments like that - that slow you down over the years. I used to tear about everywhere but I'm much more cautious these days. You only have to get it wrong once. Nobody was hurt and you'll remember this for a good long while. You feeling ok now?
  4. That video does make you think. These new cars - especially the Renaults are strong little buggers. It's probably just as well there's no Corrado crash footage.
  5. A wee extinguisher like that wouldn't cope with that fire though would it?
  6. That Bullitt edition is only £15k in the states.
  7. is possible - last 2 winters I've been affected and I always have my blower on no. 4 as it's sh@gged.
  8. From Corrado brochure 1993 - "Corrado is engineered to meet some of the toughest safety standards in the world. Front and rear crumple zones, side impact protection in the doors, telescopic safety steering column, padded steering wheel and dashboard, head restraints and adjustable front seat belts help to protect the occupants of a Corrado"
  9. it's crap though - I wanted to keep the originality of the car. That's 2 wheels it's happened with - maybe I just have really sweaty hands!
  10. Call me crazy - but since I was a wee kid - I always wanted a 1968 Highland Green Ford Mustang GT390 like Steve McQueen's one in Bullitt. Which is my favourite car movie. God I'd love to import one. The 2008 Bullitt Mustang:-
  11. Yeah saw that a while back - awful. Nice looking motor too.
  12. It's definitely not just grime - the wheel surface at the top from the 10 to 2 position usually actually starts breaking up - was a real state on my last wheel. Was gutted when the new wheel I bought started doing it too.
  13. I loved this car - looked fantastic. An amazing colour - it's a pity it's not been kept in good condition and as close to original as possible. Any other Jets on the forum?
  14. I suffered from this really badly last winter with my VR6. Seemed to get worse with the colder weather - flaking badly from the top and as you describe - tar like stickiness. The steering wheel looked pretty grubby and worn at the top. Wanting to keep my car as close to original as possible I got another VR6 wheel from Ebay in much better condition - and for the first time tonight (strangely) the same thing has started. I was thinking of starting a thread to see if other people had experienced this too - so it's good seeing your post. Dunno how to prevent it really. Anyone else suffer from this too? Any suggestions?
  15. "low droning from my rear" I suffer from this fairly regularly!
  16. I nearly died when my mate crashed his Fiat Stinkycento! That was scary!
  17. Yeah I've seen some pictures of big accidents and they always take it well - especially in the cockpit - drivers footwell and pedals.
  18. I've had comments from people about my "old car" not having any airbags etc. I've always felt the Corrado was a tough sturdy car - what do you guys think? Do you feel safe in your Corrado - even at Mach3?
  19. How does the MPG respond when you reset it and are at full speed (ie not town driving) - sometimes in town if you've just started - the MPG can drop really low.
  20. how easy was it removing and re-fitting the carpet?
  21. Gorgeous - love them and black is the best colour!
